Manipulators (Complete Series, 12 cards)

Here's the full set of 12 cards based around the art of Pete Mohrbacher. Many thanks to him for the inspiration. Each of these, other than Dryviel, is part of Mohrbacher's "Angelarium" gallery. They all (besides Dryviel) have a poem that goes along with them that sings praise to these angels. I based what the cards do off of them. Dryviel, however, I completely made up because I felt the art fit in perfectly, despite it just being a random piece that Mohrbacher did that was not a part of the "Angelarium" gallery. Any constructive criticism is welcome, as always. All of the art for the monster cards is by Pete Mohrbacher. The art for the Spell cards is from various other artists, whom I will credit above the card image.

Effect:

Negate the effects of monsters your opponent controls with ATK up to 300 points lower or higher than this card's current ATK. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can discard 1 Spell/Trap card; this card gains/loses ATK up to 1000 (this is a Quick Effect). This card gains the following effects depending on its current ATK.
* Less than 2000: This card cannot be destroyed by battle.
* More than 2000: This card cannot attack.
* More than 3000: Destroy this card.

Lore:
You can reveal this card in your hand: Gain Life Points equal to the amount of monsters on your opponent's side of the field whose effects are currently negated x300. If this card is discarded from your hand; Decrease the ATK of all monsters by 500 for the rest of the Duel.

Effect:
Once per turn: You can discard 1 Spell or Trap card; Change the target of any effect or attack to any appropriate card on the field. If you do this during your opponent's turn; You lose 1000 Life Points. If this card is targeted for an attack, it gains 300 ATK during the Damage Step only. If this card is targeted by an effect, negate the effect and your opponent can either draw 1 card or gain 1000 Life Points.

Lore:
You can reveal this card in your hand; Special Summon 2 Wing Tokens (Level 1, ATK: 0, DEF: 0) on your side of the field in defense position. They cannot be used as Tributes or to perform an Xyz or Synchro Summon. If this card is discarded from your hand by the effect of "Sahaqiel, Manipulator of Movement"; All Wing Tokens on your side of the field gain the following effect:
This Token is treated as a Spell, Trap, and monster card.
* If this Token is destroyed as the result of battle; Increase the ATK of all monsters on your side of the field by 300.
* If this Token is targeted by a card effect; Negate the effect and destroy that card and this Token.

Effect:
If there is at least 1 monster on your side of the field besides "Uriel, Manipulator of Flames"; This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Each time you gain Life Points or play a card; This card loses 300 ATK. Once per turn: You can discard 1 Spell or Trap card; This card can attack all monsters on the field once each. If this card battles with a monster whose ATK is higher than its own; Inflict double the difference to your opponent's Life Points.

Lore:
You can reveal this card in your hand: Pay 1000 Life Points; Special Summon the monster used to Tribute Summon "Uriel, Manipulator of Flames". If this card is discarded from your hand to the Graveyard by the effect of "Uriel, Manipulator of Flames": Any monster that does battle with "Uriel, Manipulator of Flames" is destroyed at the end of the Damage Step. During your End Phase after this effect was activated; Banish "Uriel, Manipulator of Flames" and lose 1000 Life Points.

Effect:
If this card is the only monster your control, it cannot be removed from the field by card effects. Each time you lose Life Points; Increase this card's DEF by 300. Once per turn: You may discard 1 Spell or Trap card from your hand or your side of the field; Gain Life Points equal to the difference of this card's DEF and the DEF of the monster with the highest DEF on your opponent's side of the field (this is a Quick Effect).

Lore:
You can reveal this card in your hand; You lose 100 Life Points during your opponent's next Draw Phase, Standby Phase, and End Phase. If this card is discarded from your hand while "Matariel, Manipulator of Rain" is on your side of the field and your Life Points are under 3000; Draw a card.

Effect:
Once per turn: You can discard 1 Spell or Trap card; Your opponent must change the cost of an effect they activate to one of the following (this is a Quick Effect);
* Skip your next Draw Phase.
* Skip your next Battle Phase.
* You lose half of your Life Points.
* Send 2 Spell or Traps cards on your side of the field to the Graveyard.
* Banish 1 monster on your side of the field.
When you actiavte this card's effect: You can declare one of the costs listed above; Your opponent cannot select that cost.

Lore:
You can reveal this card in your hand; "Simikiel, Manipulator of Gravity" gains ATK equal to the amount of cards in your opponent's Spell/Trap card zone x300 for the rest of this turn. If this card was discarded from your hand by the effect of "Simikiel, Manipulator of Gravity"; Treat all effects you activate during your next 2 turns as a cost.

Effect:
Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can discard a Spell or Trap card; Change the type of any monster on the field (this is a Quick Effect). Depending on which type you change the target to, apply the appropriate effect:
* Fiend/Zombie: Decrease its Level by 1.
* Fairy/Winged Beast: Increase its Level by 1.
* Plant: You gain 1000 Life Points.
* Pyro: Your opponent loses 1000 Life Points.
* Beast/Beast-Warrior/Warrior: Increase the ATK of "Zachriel, Manipulator of Essence"' by 300.
* Reptile/Dinosaur/Dragon: Decrease its ATK by 300.
* Rock/Machine: Switch its position.
* Fish/Sea Serpent/Aqua: Negate its effect.
* Psychic/Thunder: Destroy 1 face-down card on the field.
* Spellcaster/Insect: Destroy 1 face-up card on the field.
If your opponent has 2 or more cards of the same type on their side of the field during the End Phase; Destroy this card.

Lore:
You can reveal this card in your hand; "Zachriel, Manipulator of Essence" that you control cannot be destroyed by Spell or Trap cards this turn. If this card is discarded from your hand by the effect of "Zachriel, Manipulator of Essence"; Draw 1 card and call a type. If you call the correct type; draw an additional card. If you call it wrong or the card you drew was a Spell or Trap card; Place that card on the bottom of your Deck.
 
Thank you for reading. Apologies for the especially long effect on Zachriel, but it's what I wanted to create. I'd be grateful for any constructive criticism or OCG polishing.

The arts of those monsters has been used a lot of times here. I even used the art of Sahaqiel, manipulator of movement... But, I liked some cards. Zachriel's effect is pretty much useless... types of monsters are so random in one deck. Even for an One-attribute-only Deck.

There are plenty of cards that depend on specific types that are used commonly. Funny, Zachriel is the one I'm most worried about being OP.

 

I was unaware that anyone had used these arts before, as I am still relatively new here. Nevertheless, doesn't change the fact that I was inspired to make these because of his art.
