Servant of Tsukuyomi

Rank 4 Light

2 Level 4 monsters

Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls; change it to face-down Defense Position. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card attacked a face-down Defense Position monster: Destroy that monster..

2300/1600

The combination of flipping a monster face-down plus the automatic destruction of a face-down monster when it attacks one might be too strong, but I thought it would be an interesting combination. Also thought about having it attack again when it destroys a face-down monster instead of it's current attack effect.

I actually like this card, but I think the last restriction makes it unplayable.

You really have have to compare it to Maestroke the Symphony Djinn. Maestroke has 2300 defense, Servant has 2300 attack. Both can flip a monster face-down. Maestroke has a defensive ability, Servant has an offensive ability.... it is this symmetry that makes a balanced card. Adding the "can not attack face-up monsters" part unnecessarily weakens it and destroys the offensive theme is had going on. I suggest you simply remove it.

Thanks. I'll take that into consideration. I was afraid that that the combination might have been overpowered, so I added the final restriction as kind of an afterthought.

edit: I went ahead and removed the "can not attack face up monsters" restriction based on the feedback.

Now it's a great card, an offensive counterpart to Maestroke I'd love to play.
