D.A._Sakuyamon
At the start of your Main Phase 1; Add the top 2 cards of your deck to your hand and your opponent draws 1 card. Until the End Phase of this turn you cannot add cards to your hand by drawing them. You can only activate 1 "Basking in Greed" per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this card.
Gave it a reverse Thunder King clause & made it so you cant summon at all the turn you use it. Might be a bit to much though. EDIT: Made it so you MUST activate it at the start of Main Phase 1 & made it only prevent you from Special Summoning rather then Summoning at all. outlaw1994
honestly this seems like nobody would play it with the no summoning condition so maybe just make it no special summoning or something similar my recommendation would be the followingAdd the top 2 cards of your deck to your hand and your opponent draws 1 card. Until the End Phase of this turn you cannot add cards to your hand by drawing them. You can only activate 1 "Basking in Greed" per turn. You cannot special Summon monsters or set cards the turn you activate this card.this way it makes it a bit more playable allowing you to normal summon but you cant special summon or set other cards so still has a large restriction that being said i can still see this at 3 in an exodia deck

Now it has to be played at the Start of Main Phase 1 which means they can't play cards that draw in return for a 1+ (technically a 0-/+) which isn't ideal. Nightmare Stomper
The syntax makes very little sense to me for some reason. It's a decent card, and though I see some flaws: It ADDS cards, also, it's 2 freaking cards. That's a +2, it cannot be free else Exodia will reign supreme. I had a really hard time with this one, I don't know how to phrase it well. At the start of your Main Phase 1; excavate the top 2 cards of your deck, and if either of the excavated cards are monsters, you take 2000 damage, and if you do, your opponent draws 1 card. Then, add all cards excavated by this effect to your hand. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase or Special Summon monsters the turn you activate this effect. You can only activate 1 "Basking in Greed" per turn.

Combined with that, your opponent draws a card, that drops it down to a 0+/-. Then you you can't play cards that make you flat out draw and cards that would make you draw eventually. Such as Upstart, Hand Destruction, Magical Library, ect. The damage you put there is very much unnecessary. Also, you actually made the card worse because you can draw all the cards you want provided you have cards that let you draw and in an Exodia Deck you do. Nightmare Stomper
This may be true, but the damage is a replacement for the previous "you cannot do anything now taan endo" and still keeps some sort of balance.

Exodia doesn't care about damage. It's primary goal is get to Exodia first turn. Also, with all the draw/add cards to hand in the game. Having a card that lets you add but at thew cost of drawing is a good balance choice.
