youri012
''Akui'' means ''Malice'' in Japanese. This Archetype, well, focuses on doing weird things with monsters in the Graveyard (SHAME ON YOU, PEOPLE WITH DIRTY MINDS),Special Summoning from the Graveyard in particular. The goal of this Archetype is to create a full field of monsters with the Special Summoning effects. These are the first cards I made concerning this Archetype. Please let me know what you think and give me your feedback. Thank you! :) Lore: FLIP: Select an ''Akui'' monster card in your Graveyard; this card's DEF is equal to the selected cards DEF until your next Standby Phase. Lore: When this card is added to your hand from your Graveyard, Special summon it. Lore: While in your hand, when you have less Life Points than your opponent, this card's Level is treated as 4. During your Standby Phase, both players discard a card. Lore: You can Special Summon this from your hand by banishing 1 ''Akui'' monster from your Graveyard. When an ''Akui'' monster is sent to the Graveyard from your hand; inflict 800 damage to your opponent's Life Points. Lore: Pay 500 Life Points; Special Summon a Level 6 or lower ''Akui'' monster from your Graveyard to your side of the field. Lore: Select a Level 4 or lower ''Akui'' monster from your Graveyard; equipped monster gains ATK equal to selected card's ATK. When equipped monster is destroyed, return this card to your hand. Lore: FLIP: select 1 Level 4 or lower ''Akui'' monster card from your Deck; selected card is sent to the Graveyard. Lore: This card's ATK and DEF are each equal to the number of ''Akui'' monsters in your Graveyard x700. Lore: Once per turn, you can discard a card; Special Summon 1 ''Akui'' monster with ATK 1800 or less from your Graveyard to your side of the field. Lore: Offer 1 ''Akui'' monster on your side of the field as a Tribute, and pay 1000 Life Points; select an ''Akui'' monster card from your Deck or Graveyard and Special Summon it on your side of the field. Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your Graveyard by paying 500 Life Points. This card cannot be destroyed by card Effects. This card can attack your opponent's Life Points directly.
krakonfour
First off: Congratulations of finding such good art. Let's review now: Akui ward mage is a bit wrong. No monster has effects while it is face-down. I suggest you change it to: 'When this card is flipped face-up'. This way, the effects are activated while it is face-up on the field. Akui Succubus need to be reworded: "When this card is added to your hand from your Graveyard, Special summon it". Also, alone, it is a pretty broken effect. Monster reincarnation can basically special summon this card whenever you want. In my opinion, it is just too splashable. Akui Death Reaper is much too underpowered. It is a level 5 monster that has no effect that helps its own summon, it has terrible stats for a level 5, and its effect is slow (Standby Phase means you have to make it survive ( in face-Up attack position no less) through your opponent's turn before it even activates) and mostly useless in this Meta. It would be marginally useful in Dark Worlds, but even they have nothing to do with a level 5 monster dead in the hand. Akui Gravemaster, is just slightly more useful than Death Reaper, which doesn't mean its good. For a level 6 monster that has no summoning help, the stats are terrible. On top of that, the effect is unweildy and pointless. You need to summon this card while you have another face-up Aki card, th;en activate the effect to discard, and all this for a meagre 500 points of effect damage. Why would you even do that. Look at Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch. It has the stats, it has the burn damage, and even so it isn't played. Akui Reincarnation is decent. It acts as a Monster reborn for the archetype, but costs you 500 LP. Akui Gravepower. Well...on one hand, it turns your Akui Spirit of the Grave into a special summoned 2800 ATK direct attacker, and on the other, it is a basic equip card for an archetype that doesn't support equip cards at all. It cannot be searched, doesn't protect itself or the monster it equips, and just boosts ATK by 1000-1400 points. Akui Coffinkeeper is good, but the choice of lvl 4 or lower Aluis is pretty limited. Akui Frontline Rager is another example of a restricted, unweildy card with a pointless effect. It has 5 levels, but nothing helps you getting it out. It has a terrible ATK of 1900, and it needs a lot of set-up just to get to 2600 ATK. In the meantime, it has zero protection, and zero offensive uses outside of battle. Tomb of Akui is a good card. You can discard ANY card, which is nice, and the 1800 ATK restriction allows you to special summon a variety of Akui monsters from lvl 3 to 5, allowing XYZ summons. I'll review the rest later, and add suggestions.
EndSeekingValor
It's a bit odd to say your cards are under-powered instead of over-powered... Most people go crazy... But it's true. Good concept, design, and effect ideas. Now just give them a power boost.

The topic will probabli be updated later on this day. It's a bit odd to say your cards are under-powered instead of over-powered... Most people go crazy... But it's true. Good concept, design, and effect ideas. Now just give them a power boost. Well, krakonfour gave me in-depth reviews which also made clear to me that some cards are underpowered, but thank you for the statement and for saying it's a good concept :
Zauls
First of all, the art is excellent, so well done for that. Unfortunately, the cards that go with the art are rather lack-luster. When you create an Archetype, the cards are supposed to have synergy with one another so that they produce some kind of common goal or win condition. These cards do not do that. They just have really generic effects and none of them are actually that useful or impressive. You also have too many cards that Special Summon from the Graveyard, which is unnecessary and wasteful. Most of the individual cads have already been reviewed, but there's a few things I would like to say about a couple of them. The "Spirit of the Grave" card is ridiculously overpowered and would be banned straight away in the real game for creating infinite fodder from the Graveyard to use for Tribute Summoning, Synchro/Xyz fodder etc. Fishborg Blaster was banned for a reason, and this card is a basically costless non-Tuner Fishborg Blaster. You should probably get rid of that card entirely or rewrite its effect entirely, since it is terrible design from the start and probably broken beyond repair. Tomb of Akui has a similar problem. It is basically an infinite Call of the Haunted that can even be done during the opponent's turn because its a Trap. Not as generic, but terrible design nonetheless. Hm I'll take this into account, but I made a bunch of new cards. Also this archetype focuses on the Graveyard, Special Summoning from it in particular, so I don't see the problem there. I'll fix some things again but anyway, here are some new cards: Lore: ''Akui'' monsters gain 400 ATK and DEF. During a player's Standby Phase, that player either loses 500 Life Points OR discards a card from their hand. Lore: During your Standby Phase, you gain Life Points equal to the number of ''Akui'' cards in your Graveyard x100. When this card is destroyed, select 1 ''Akui'' card from your Graveyard and add it to your Hand. Lore: 2 Level 4 ''Akui'' monsters While this card has Xyz Materials, this card gains 200 ATK for each ''Akui'' monster card in your Graveyard. Once during your turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; select 1 ''Akui'' monster card from your deck, selected card is sent to the Graveyard. Lore: Banish 1 ''Akui'' monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon this card from your Graveyard on your side of the field. Lore: When this card is destroyed by battle, you can pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon 1 ''Akui'' Tuner monster from your Deck or Graveyard. Lore: 1''Akui'' Tuner + 1 or more ''Akui'' non-Tuner monsters This card gains 100 ATK for each ''Akui'' card in your Graveyard. Once per turn you can banish 1 ''Akui'' monster card from your Graveyard; inflict 1000 damage to your opponent's Life Points. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard; you can pay 1000 Life Points to return it to the Extra Deck.
