ok the hollow archetype is a group of EARTH, Rock monsters that focus on being destroyed (mostly by battle sometimes by effects)

Hollow stone
DARK/Rock/Tuner/Level 3
when this card is destroyed by battle you can add 1 "Hollow" monster from your deck to your hand.
1000 ATK / 1800 DEF

Hollow ghost
DARK/Rock/Tuner/Level 3
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, you can Special summon it in face-up attack position.
0 ATK / 1800 DEF

Hollow knight
EARTH/Rock/Effect/Level 3
When this card is normal summoned you can Special summon 1 Level 3 "Hollow" monster from your graveyard in face-up attack position.
1700 ATK / 1800 DEF

Hollow Archer
EARTH/Rock/Effect/Level 3
When this card is destroyed by battle you can add 1 "Hollow" Spell or trap card from your deck or graveyard.
1000 ATK / 2000 DEF

Hollow Spear
Quick-play Spell card
Destroy 1 card on the field, it counts as being destroyed by battle. When this face-down card is destroyed inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.

Hollow Void
Spell card
If you control a face-up monster you can activate this card; Destroy all monsters on the field, it counts as being destroyed by battle.

Hollow hammer
Quick-play spell card
Destroy 1 card on the field, it counts as being destroyed by battle. When this face-down card is destroyed you can add it to your hand.

Hollow knight ABYSS

When this card is Synchro summoned you can destroy up to 2 cards on the field, they count as being destroyed by battle. When this card is destroyed by battle you can Special summon 1 level 3 "Hollow" monster from your graveyard.

When this card is Synchro summoned you can destroy all other monsters on the field, they count as being destroyed by battle. Once per turn you can destroy 1 card on your side of the field and 1 card on your opponent's side of the field, they count as being destroyed by battle. When this card is destroyed by battle you can Special summon 2 level 3 "Hollow" monsters from your graveyard.

"Hollow Diend" + 1 "Hollow" monster"
This card must first be Special summoned by destroying 1 "Hollow Diend" and 1 "Hollow" monster, they count as being destroyed by battle. When this card is Special summoned you can inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. When this card is destroyed by battle you can Special summon 1 "Hollow Diend" monster from your graveyard.
2500 ATK / 2000 DEF

Hollow cannon
Continuous trap card
During your standby phase inflict 300 damage to your opponent for every "Hollow" card in your graveyard.

Hollow catapult
Continuous trap card
When a "Hollow" monster is destroyed by battle you can send 1 "Hollow" monster from your deck to the graveyard to Special summon 1 "Hollow" monster from your graveyard, the monster send to the graveyard counts as being destroyed by battle, you cannot Special summon monsters from the extra deck this turn.

Hollow blade
Equip spell
The equipped monster gains 1500 ATK, during the end phase destroy the equipped monster, it counts as being destroyed by battle

You can use this one for other things besides boosting your hollows: like destroying your opponent's monsters or using this in a photon deck (that being destroyed thing happens at the end phase so you can use this and boost anything at 500 or higher to at least 2000)

Hollow Librarian
DARK/Rock/Synchro/Level 6
"1 DARK Tuner + 1 or more Rock-Type monsters"
When this card is Synchro summoned, you can draw 1 card. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can draw 2 cards.
2100 ATK / 2000 DEF

Hollow Nightmare
DARK/Zombie/Tuner/Level 3
When this card is destroyed by battle: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

Hollow Diend Beginning
LIGHT/Rock/XYZ/Rank 3
"2 or more level 3 "Hollow" monsters"
This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. When a "Hollow" monster would be destroyed by battle you can detach a Xyz material from this card instead, negate the effect and destroy that card. When a Xyz material is detached from this card it gains 500 ATK. When this card is destroyed by battle you can draw 1 card for every Xyz material this card had when it was destroyed.

Stone's effect can be used to add Knight to the hand, then knight summons stone. if you do that, you can make a level 6 Synchro or rank 3 xyz.

 

Possibly make ghost's effect "When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, you can Special summon it in face-up attack position."

I'm not sure on the "it counts as being destroyed by battle" effects but it is consistent through the set.
 

Knight ABYSS, Ghost ABYSS and Dragon ABYSS's 2nd effect means it can be special summoned by their own effect. Add "(except Hollow *name* ABYSS)".

Hollow magnet's defence could be lowered to around 1400-1600 and add 'if able' to its first effect.

Hollow king can be special summoned by destroying Dragon ABYSS adding itself and another monster to the field from the graveyard. This is too overpowered. It could do with a negative effect to counter it.

I like Hollow Diend's effect but does it still get affected by the other cards in the set?

Raise the level Hollow Diend knight.

 

Cannon won't inflict much damage because most of the Hollow monsters special summon themselves or others.

Once again, say if you attacked with Diend or Ghost, Hollow catapult can send another Diend or Ghost to the grave. Diend will let you summon another lvl 3 or ghosts will special summon from the grave. during mp2 xyz or Synchro.

 

Diend Beginning can boost up to 3500 from card being destroyed or prevent itself from being destroyed.

You could change the effect to "This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. When a "Hollow" monster would be destroyed by battle you can detach a Xyz material from this card instead, negate the effect and destroy that card. When a Xyz material is detached from this card it gains 500 ATK. When this card is destroyed by battle you can draw 1 card for every Xyz material this card had when it was destroyed." to stop you from using king destroying this card, detaching an Xyz material and boosting its ATK.

 

 

Some of these may not be useful but I just picked out some of the flaws. Looking at them from a set, it is quite good but OP.

I had a quick play test and noticed some things about this deck.

First thing I noticed was that this deck has an amazing ability to swarm the field.

 

 

now these are the issues I found:

Extra deck cards don't have material monsters attached (e.g. 1 tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monsters)

Some of the cards ATK and DEF are too strong, and effects are too OP on Synchro's. (if you want I will post the revised cards I used for the deck)

 

When using Ghost as a tribute for King, it allows you to summon Dragon ABYSS. That is a little OP in some cases.

 

King can be easily summoned by Knight's effect. Make it "You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 "Hollow" monster from your graveyard."

 

Synchro's need a secondary effect to not summon King. Possibly the same as Knight's addition.

 

 

 

These will need more play testing but a very good deck.

Fixed the King problems I'm not sure what to do about the ATK, DEF and Synchro effects though so I wouldn't mind if you posted your revised ones

I lowered a few cards ATK and DEF so they can be searched with Giant Rat. Although I like your changes. Definitely keep the ABYSS effects and Knights.

 

Change Diend Beginning's effect to:

"This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. When a "Hollow" monster would be destroyed by battle you can detach a Xyz material from this card instead, negate the attack and effect and destroy that card. When a Xyz material is detached from this card it gains 500 ATK. When this card is destroyed by battle you can draw 1 card for every Xyz material this card had when it was destroyed." This is only due to a second test today.

This card can only be Ritual summoned with "Rise of the hollow lord". Once per turn you can pay 500 life points: Destroy all other cards on the field, they count as being destroyed by battle. when this card is destroyed by battle you can Special summon 1 "Hollow" monster from your deck.
