Just going back to YCM mood, I've never been online a while ago so I think I can pay it with this :). Hope you like it, I am free to feedbacks and suggestions so please make a review of what things do I need to change.

[spoiler= Lore]

Target 1 Beast- Type monster you control, when it leaves the field, banish it instead. During your next standby phase, set the banished monster in the spell/trap card zone as a trap card and it will gain the following effect:

*Every time a Beast- Type monster is destroyed, special summon this card as a monster with the same name, level, stats and attribute of the destroyed monster. Destroy this card after the end phase.

You can only use the effect of "Beast Substitute Portal" once per duel.

Here's an OCG fix:

Target 1 Beast- Type monster you control: when it leaves the field, banish it instead. During your next standby phase, return the banished monster face-up as a Continuous Trap card with the following effect:
-If a a Beast- Type monster is destroyed, special summon this card as a monster with the same name, level, type, attribute and  ATK/DEF values as the destroyed monster. Destroy this card during your End Phase.
You can only use this effect of "Beast Substitute Portal" once per duel.

I don't know... it just feels rather pointless. Which Beast-type monster is so important that'd you'd want to keep it in your S/T zone instead of the Graveyard when it leaves the field? You only get it back, name and ATK values and all, if a Beast-Type monster is destroyed, which makes for a pretty slow card. You opponent can easily work around this. In my opinion, Call of the Haunted just does all of this better. The only thing going for this card is that it can dodge some effects. On top of that, a once per duel effect on a non-win condition card that doesn't give you free advantage is pointless and restricting.

How about something that explicitly allows you to dodge effects while substituting the monster, like the name implies (instead of just summoning the same monster from the banished zone?

Trap Continuous
Target 1 Beast-Type monster you control: banish it. During your next standby phase, send the banished monster to your Graveyard and special summon this card as an Effect  Monster to your side of the field as with the following effect:
-This card's name, level, type, attribute and  ATK/DEF values are equal to those of the monster banished to activate"Beast Substitute Portal".
