Eschec Archetype

[ This is my first Written Card Set that I am posting, so I hope I am doing this right. ]
"Eschec" is the Latin-something for Chess
Chess is a game played by two players to test the skills and strategies of each. Something, blah blah blah . Archetype.

I thought about a interesting series of abilities each "Eschec" piece could have that are based around the rules of Chess. These abilities include Special Summoning and draw power. Here is what I have so far.

When you Normal or Special Summon a Level 4 monster to your side of the field; you can Special Summon this card. If this card is as Synchro-Material for a Fairy-Type monster, that monster gains 400 ATK.

When this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Eschec" monster from you Hand, except "Eschec Bishop".

When this card destroys an opponents monster by battle, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 "Eschec" monster from you Deck.

As long as this card remains face up on the field, your opponent cannot select any "Eschec" monsters for an attack except for "Eschec Knight".

When this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Eschec Pawn" from your hand or Deck. If this card inflicts damage to your opponent by a direct attack, you can send it to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 "Eshec" monster from your hand or Deck.

When this card is Summoned: You can add 1 "Eschec" monster from your Deck to your Hand.

You can Special Summon this card from your hand by discarding 1 "Eschec" monster. As long as you control another "Eschec" monster, except for "King of Eschec", this card cannot be destroyed by battle or your opponents card effects. You can only control 1 "King of Eschec".

This card can be Special Summoned (from your hand) when you control 2 or more "Eschec" monsters. When this card is successfully Summoned, you can target 1 "Eschec" monster on your side of the field. Increase it's Level to 8. When this card destroys an opponents monster, it can attack once again. You can only control 1 "Queen of Eschec".

Xed Eschec Nightrider

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by returning 1 "Eschec Knight" from your side of the field to your Deck. Once per turn, you can target 1 "Eschec" monster in your Deck. Special Summon that target to your side of the field; change it's Attribute to DARK. It cannot attack during this turn.

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by returning 1 "Eschec Rook" from your side of the field to your Deck. Once per turn, you can inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent. This card cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect.

You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by returning 1 "King of Eschec from your side of the field to your Deck. As long as this card remains face up on the field, other "Eschec" card(s) you control are unaffected by your opponents card effects. When this card is destroyed by a card effect, destroy all monsters you control, then Special Summon 1 "Eschec" monster from your Graveyard except for "Xed Eschec Mann".

Eschec Fool

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summon except by Tributing 3 "Eschec" monsters on your side of the field. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. Any battle damage you would receive from battle is inflicted to your opponent instead. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can banish 3 "Eschec" monsters from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card.

This card cannot be destroyed by card effects. Once per turn, when a Special Summoned monster would activate its effect, you can discard 1 card to negate that effect and destroy it.

When this card is successfully Fusion Summoned, you can target 2 unoccupied Monster zones your opponent controls. Your opponent cannot Summon Monsters in the selected zones. Once per turn, you can pay 500 Life Points to discard 1 random card in your opponents hand.

When this card is successfully Fusion Summoned, Special Summon 1 "Eschec" monster from your Graveyard. Your opponent cannot select another monster for an attack, except for "Xed Eschec Princess".

This card can attack twice during your Battle Phase. When this card destroys an opponents monster by battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of the destroyed monster x200.

When this card is Successfully Synchro Summoned, you can add 1 "Eschec" Spell/Trap card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. Once per turn you can excavate the top 3 cards of your Deck. You can add 1 "Eschec" monster excavated by this effect. Shuffle the rest back into the Deck.

You can detach 2 Xyz Material monsters from this card: This monster can attack your opponent directly this turn, but the damage is halved. If this card successfully inflicts battle damage to your opponent with a direct attack, you can Special Summon 1 "Eschec" monster from your Hand or Deck.

As long as this card has Xyz Material, your opponent cannot destroy your Set Spell/Trap cards. Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to destroy 1 card your opponent controls. When this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Eschec" monster from your hand or Deck.

• Once per turn, during either players turn, you can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; Declare 1 card Type (Spell, Trap, or Monster). Your opponent discards all cards with the declared type from their hand to the Graveyard.

Target up to 5 "Eschec" card(s) in your Graveyard. Add those targets to your Deck. Your Deck is shuffled, then you draw 2 cards.

Spell | Field
All "Eschec" monster(s) on on the field gain 500 ATK and DEF. When an "Eschec" monster is destroyed by battle, you can shuffle that target back into the Deck instead of sending it to the Graveyard.

Eschec Modulation
Spell | Quick-Play
Target 1 Level 4 "Eschec" monster you control. Increase its Level to Level 8, until the End Phase.

Eschec Fusion
Spell | None
This card is always treated as "Polymerization". Select 1 "Eschec" Fusion monster from your Extra Deck. Send from your hand or your side of the field, Fusion-Material monster(s) listed in the name of the selected Fusion monster. Send the Fusion-Material monster(s) to the Graveyard. Special Summon the selected "Eschec" Fusion monster from your Extra Deck to your side of the field. If you had an "Eschec" Fusion monster on your side of the field before you activated this card, you can shuffle the Fusion Material monster(s) back to your Deck instead of sending them tot he Graveyard.

Eschecmate
Trap | None
You can only activate this card while you control 1 "King of Eschec" and/or 1 "Queen of Eschec" and you have 16 or more "Eschec" monsters with different names in your Graveyard. The monsters you control gain 200x ATK for each monster in your Graveyard and can attack your opponent directly. If your opponent still Life Points at the End Phase of this turn, they win the Duel.

Since people don't like to reply, ill take the liberty of doing so. I am not that good with rating, but ill give a 6/10. I like the fusion monsters, simply b/c they seem easy to summon. However, I would suggest a fusion card for their archetype, such as Gem-Knight or Shaddoll fusion for Eschec. I also think you could include some Xyz Monsters and maybe a field spell that focuses on drawing and reshuffling power. I also didn't see any spell/trap cards in the deck set, although that could be me. But so far, this is good!

I like this, 7.5/10

- I would change Eschec Fusion so that "this card is always treated like Polymerization"

- I would also either change Eschecmate into some sort of auto-win condition or add another card that does so (It just fits, especially with a "checkmate"

- Your Number/Xyz monsters (Should be 3) should focus on 2 having lockdown effects and 1 that focuses on a sort of Eschec blitzkrieg (detaching and sacrificing Eschec monsters to deal Effect Damage), however, I like what you have. Good Job!

Thanks for the advice, Leo. 
The intention for the Xyz Monsters were mainly based on Special Summoning or card banishing. However, Number 26: Eschec Chessquere has the ability of stunning the abilities ability to destroy your Set cards, which could make it useful in some way. Maybe another cards effect would work better. I'm not sure :p I'm trying to keep them as balanced as possible. Thanks for the advice sir. Lets see if this is any better. 

Update: Added Eschec Fairy, Eschec Fool, Xed Eschec Cardinal, Xed Eschec Chancellor , Number 26/C26: XXed Eschec Chessquere/Archessquere, Eschec Omega Champion, Eschec Omega Wizard, and fixed the effect of Eschecmate
