Mdoraz
So here's my first attempt at a new archetype, any criticism will be appreciated. It's based on the solidarity of dwarves, keeping the deck around one lonely type of monster. The dwarven cards can generate a lot of advantage and swarming power, but they all have the restriction of not being able to summon other monsters besides "Dwarven" monsters, keeping the effects in check. I would especially like some feedback on "The Lonely Mountain" and "Tactics of the Dwarven Mountain" as to whether they are too OP or not. Thanks. Monsters:
You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). You can target 1 "Dwarven" monster you control and 1 card your opponent controls; send them to the Graveyard.

You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). During the End Phase, if this card was sent to your Graveyard this turn: Add 1 "Dwarven" card from your deck to your hand.

You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). If this card is Summoned: You can send 1 "Dwarven" monster from your deck to your Graveyard, except "Dwarven Executioner".

You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). You can discard this card; Add 1 "The Lonely Mountain" from your deck to your hand. Once per turn, you can target 2 "Dwarven" monsters in your graveyard; shuffle those targets into the deck, then draw 1 card.

You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 "Dwarven" monster in your Graveyard; Special summon that target in face-up attack position.

You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). If you control a "Dwarven" monster, you can special summon this card (from your hand) in face-up Defense position, when you do, you can send 1 random card from your opponent's hand to their Graveyard. You can only Special Summon "Dwarven Traveler" this way once per turn.

You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Dwarven" monster from your deck, except "Dwarven Slayer". During the End Phase, send that Special Summoned Monster to the Graveyard. You can only activate this effect of "Dwarven Slayer" once per turn.

You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). If this card is summoned by the effect of a "Dwarven" card: Target 1 card your opponent controls, send that target to the Graveyard. You can only activate this effect of "Dwarven Sorcerer" once per turn.

You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). During damage calculation (in either player's turn), if a "Dwarven" monster you control battles an opponent's monster, you can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; your monster gains ATK equal to its original DEF during that damage calculation only.

You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). If this card is sent to your Graveyard by the effect of a "Dwarven" card: You can target 1 card your opponent controls; send that target to the Graveyard. You can only activate this effect of "Dwarven Wanderer" once per turn.
Boss Monster:
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 4 "Dwarven" monsters you control (excluding tokens), and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways ("Dwarven" cards cannot prevent this card's summon). The Special Summon of this card cannot be negated. This card is unaffected by other card effects. This card gain 100 ATK and DEF for each "Dwarven" monster in your Graveyard.

3 Level 4 "Dwarven" monsters This card cannot attack. Once per turn: You can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card; Send 1 "Dwarven" monster from your deck to your Graveyard OR add 1 "Dwarven" monster from your deck to your hand. If a "Dwarven" monster(s) you control would leave the field when a card effect resolves, you can detach 1 XYZ Material from this card instead.
Spells:
You cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Dwarven" monsters (this effect cannot be negated). All "Dwarven" monsters you control gain 200 ATK and DEF. Once per turn, each "Dwarven" monster you control cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is destroyed and sent to your graveyard; Add 1 "Dwarven" spell card from your graveyard to your hand, then you can send 1 "Dwarven" monster from your deck to your graveyard.

Target 1 "Dwarven" monster in your graveyard; add that target to your hand, then you can send 1 "Dwarven" monster from your deck to your graveyard.

Target 1 "Dwarven" monster you control; Send that target to the graveyard, then Special Summon 1 "Dwarven" monster from your deck with a different name than the monster that was targeted. You can only activate 1 "Tactics of the Dwarven Mountain" per turn.

Banish 1 "Dwarven" card from your graveyard; All "Dwarven" cards you currently control are unaffected by your opponent's Spell/Trap effects this turn.

Target 3 "Dwarven" monsters in your graveyard; shuffle those targets into your deck, then draw 1 card.

Target a total of 2 "Dwarven" monsters on your field and/or in your hand; Shuffle those targets into the deck and draw 2 cards, then you can send 1 card your opponent controls to the graveyard. You can only activate 1 "Treasure of the Dwarvern Mountain" per turn.

Pay 2000 Life Points; Special Summon up to 3 "Dwarven" monsters from your graveyard in face-up Attack Position, their effects on the field cannot be activated this turn. LegoLord91
First, I really like this set. I enjoy the art and the general strategy of the cards. They're awesome. Second, I understand how you wanted to balance their effects and support by restricting the access to the extra deck, but it seems like other than Berserker, there isn't a whole lot of offensive power to combat a deck that can explosively access their extra deck. I guess I would think that if a deck couldn't play with an extra deck, they would have stronger effects to deal with those powerful extra deck monsters. As it stands, I don't think that these cards are overpowered, if anything, I think they are slightly underpowered due to the extra deck restriction. In fact, if these cards were real life, they would need the field spell to survive. Unless this deck focused on tribute summoning or Ritual Monsters, there just isn't a whole lot of offensive plays to your opponents strategy, just swarms of monsters and defensive support. My suggestion would be to maybe focus a few of the cards on field control. I really like that Brewmaster's effect activates when it is sent to the Graveyard, and that you have monsters and spell cards that send Dwarven cards to the Graveyard. That's a really cool gimmick. If you expanded on that, there could be Dwarven monsters who gain different effects when they are sent to the Graveyard by the effect of a Dwarven card, like destroy a card, or decreasing the ATK of a Monster, or negate the effects of a Monster, etc. I feel like those effects would be more suited and balanced to not being able to access an extra deck, but that's just my opinion. Maybe I am wrong! Take it as a grain of salt! I just thought I would give this reviewing thing a try. Bottomline, I really do love these cards. They are super cool. And I hope that I didn't offend you in any way.
Mdoraz
Thanks, your advice is really great, and i like the idea of putting more effects when they are sent to the grave, I'll try that. I realized that the power of executioner to send engineer could get any "Dwarven" card, so i took out the "Dwarven" in a few of them, like I made the field "The lonely mountain, but made a commandant-like dwarves card. Edit: updated Sentry, Tactics, and Treasure to have more offensive capabilities, plus I realized that treasure was actually a -1, so adding another effect made it balanced. I hope I didn't make Sentry and Tactics too OP, so more feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
LegoLord91
No problem! I'm glad that I could help. I think that was a good idea taking the "Dwarven" out of a few of the card names, but a keeping a few for cool combo purposes. Also, just so that you are aware, the card text of "Dwarven General" still refers to him as "Dwarven Miner." Keep making awesome cards! I'd really like to see this set expand! Mdoraz
Edit: Fixed Sentry, not so OP now. Made a trap that works with all the spells that return to deck as well as with berserker. Also revised The Lonely Mountain to send another monster to grave. The deck's engine is basically to send "Dwarven" monsters from your deck to the grave/ swarm to the field while gaining advantage, then use the spells to shuffle "Dwarven" cards back to deck from field/hand/grave and send opponents cards to graves while gaining hand advantage. Again, if anything is too OP, please tell me.

LegoLord91
I think these cards are pretty balanced. I really dig the field spell (pun intended). I love the boss Monster, but I think you could bump the ATK up a smidge, so then he could still get over Leo, the Keeper of the Sacred Tree. I feel like since he needs 4 tributes, he needs a higher ATK. Maybe he could gain 100 ATK for each Dwarven Monster in your Graveyard? Otherwise, these cards are getting awesome-er! OmegaO
Awesome deck, but I think that you could use a few more trap cards to protect your monsters. It looks like the main strategy of the deck is to summon out your boss monster and win the duel with him, but it is ridiculously hard to have four Dwarven monsters on the field at the same time. Most of them are vulnerable to strong attacks and the cards that protect them can only be used once per turn and can easily be negated by Mystical Space Typhoon or Dust Tornado. If you add a few more traps to defend your monsters it would make it easier to summon your boss and win. Also, I realize you want to balance the deck but I don't think it makes sense to avoid using your extra deck when you don't have any monsters in it. Aside from those two things, the deck is amazing! I wish I had some of these cards.
Mdoraz
Thanks for the great advice, the reason I have a bunch of the cards with the "once per turn" restriction is because there would be too many loops that could generate way too much advantage while hurting you opponent way to much for only like 2 cards. I did take out the restriction in a few of the cards that didn't need it, and I made a few more monsters that make the deck more offensive. I'll update it now and think about more defensive cards, thanks. Edit: Made the boss require 3 monsters to banish instead of 4, 4 is way too many. Mdoraz
Edit: made 4 new monsters, Slayer, Sorcerer, and Traveler took Ambusher's effect and I made Ambusher into a Kalut like effect, but instead it adds ATK equal to the monster's original DEF, and I made them all so that they all have 3000 total when added together. Also I made a Wanderer that gets an effect when sent to grave by a Dwarven card.
Mdoraz
ok, so now I think I made enough support without making them too overpowered. Most of the really good monster effects can only be used once, to avoid any looping effects that would just decimate my opponent without going minus. I also renamed a few of the spells to avoid being able to search for everything, and I was thinking of making treasure into a trap. Thanks for all the help guys.
