seynameilinda
heres my card,,, not so strong though,, but u can use it to take a peek of ur opponent's face down spell/trap card. Hope Normal Spell Card Description: Target 1 face-down Spell/Trap card your opponent control, then declare 1 card name. If the face-down card is the name you have declared, until your opponent's End Phase, you can activate that card as if you control it. You can only activate "Hope" once per turn. Atypical-Abbie
I'm assuming that you also reveal the card? It doesn't state that, which it probably should. Do you gain control of the card when you activate it, or does it stay on the opponent's side of the field? If the card was Set this turn, can you activate it? Anyway, the card is interesting, while it probably has little use since it's rare you are actually going to know what your opponent Sets, unless of course you can see their hand, or they're playing something like Fire Fist, if you can use it right, it can be a decent card to prevent your opponent from using key cards, or steal away their Mirror Force. Decks these days however are not really going to use this, it's too situational and requires set-up that will cost you Deck space and plays that you could use for better things. It's a nice casual card though, and it' a fun card, it isn't broken, and peeking at the cards can be useful. In terms of flavor, "Hope" doesn't really feel like what this card is trying to do, it's more like a "Ha, I stole your card" kind of feel to it. OCG fix: Target 1 Set Spell/Trap Card your opponent control, then declare 1 card name; reveal that target, then if it's the declared card name, until the end of your opponent's next turn, you can activate that card as if you control it. You can only activate "Hope" once per turn.
newhat
There aren't a lot of Set cards you could usefully activate. Most power cards like Bottomless have a specific timing that doesn't pop up much during their controller's turn. Chainable cards like Lance or Breakthrough Skill will be activated in response to this to deny the steal. It's too narrow.

newhat
Better. It's a control effect that punishes them if you can make a play without triggering Bottomless, etc. and they can't.
