Illusion Calling

Normal Spell Card

You can only activate "Illusion Calling" only once per turn. Banish each monster you control: You can Special Summon any number of monsters from your hand, but no more than the number of monster's banished by this card's effect. During the End Phase: Return any face-up monster you control that was Special Summoned by this effect into your Deck; If you do, you can Special Summon any number of monsters banished with this card's effect, but no more than the number of monsters shuffled into the Deck by this card's effect.

OCG Fix:

Banish all face-up monster(s) that you control, then Special Summon (from your hand) a number of monster(s) equal to or less than the amount of monster(s) banished by this card's effect. During the End Phase: Shuffle all face-up monster(s) that were Special Summoned by this card's effect into your deck, and if you do, you can Special Summon an amount of monster(s) banished by this card's effect equal to or less than the amount of monsters shuffled into your Deck by this card's effect. You can only activate 1  "Illusion Calling" per turn.

To be honest, this sounds a little OP to me. There's no drawback to this effect, apart from the last sentence. Compare it to Soul Charge, which is a very similar card. There's 3 drawbacks altogether:

  • Losing 1000 LP for each monster that you Special Summon
  • Not being able to conduct your Battle Phase
  • Only being able to activate one copy per turn

Yes, your card shares the same last effect, but apart from that, there's nothing else that balances it. I would change that, perhaps? You could Special Summon whatever monsters you wanted, overlay or Synchro Summon loads of different monsters, and still be able to attack, without suffering damage or anything, otherwise.
