Infinite Variety Assimilator, Aleph Null
Lv1 EARTH Machine-Type Union Monster
400/400

Once per turn, you can equip this card to a Machine-Type monster you control with at least 2 more Levels than this card, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a card by this effect, that monster's original effects are negated, and it becomes a Union Monster and gains the effects of this card. Increase the ATK of this monster by the ATK that the Union Monster equipped to it would have if it were a monster. When this monster is removed from the field, Special Summon the Union Monster equipped to this card. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time.)

Kind of a long effect! Let me break it down a bit.

Basically, the intent of this card is to change the monster you equip Aleph Null to into a Union Monster which you can equip to a different monster in turn (which will also get transformed into a Union Monster, ad infinitum...), setting up a daisy-chain of Unions limited only by the resources you have on your side of the field. Technically, you're not equipping any one card with more than one Union Monster (since everything is set up in a chain), so it should work in the game with a few rulings to clear it up.

Basically, an example of this in practice:

Let's say that you've got a field with a Lv3 Proto-Cyber Dragon, an Lv5 Artifact Moralltach, and an Lv7 Machina Fortress onboard (so all the monsters have increments of 2 levels). You normal-summon Aleph Null, and then equip it to Proto-Cyber Dragon. It gains 400 ATK and becomes a 1500-ATK Union Monster whose effect is negated and replaced with that of Aleph Null. You can then equip Proto-Cyber Dragon to Artifact Moralltach, which would gain 1500 ATK and become a 3600-ATK Union Monster. Finally, you equip the Artifact Moralltach to Machina Fortress, which gains 3600 ATK and becomes a 6100-ATK Union Monster. At this point, you can only equip Machina Fortress to a Lv9 or higher Machine, and there's not that many of them floating around.

And then, let's say that your opponent makes a Castel, Skyblaster Musketeer, and detaches 2 to shuffle your super-powered Machina Fortress to the deck. With the last effect listed in Aleph Null's card text, now transferred via union-chain to Machina Fortress, you can special-summon Moralltach back to the field again as a 3600-ATK monster, and if Moralltach is removed too somehow you'd end up with a Proto-Cyber Dragon with 1500 ATK- but if you could get another Lv5 or higher Machine out next turn, you could boost it up again...

That's basically how this card is intended to work. It may seem a bit overpowered with certain machine decks that are good at setting up the field; I'm considering changing the level-increment to 3 instead of 2, so that you'd have to go Lv1-Lv4-Lv8-Lv11, meaning that you couldn't have more than 3 monsters in the chain. Another alternative is to change this card's ATK to 0, which would change our hypothetical Machina Fortress's final ATK to 5700 instead of 6100.

Thoughts?

Once Proto-Cyber Dragon equips itself to Moralltach, the ATK that Proto-Cyber "would have if it were a monster" is 1100, because Aleph Null is no longer granting it 400 ATK. Same with the other steps.

Thanks for using "were" and not "was".

If it worked the way you intended, it would be a OTK card for throwing down a field and concentrating all its damage on 1 monster for Limiter Removal or some similar buff.

Im not the greatest with PSCT but I'll give this a shot

Once per turn, you can equip this card to a Machine-Type monster you control whose Level is 3 higher than this card's, OR unequip it; Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this effect: The effect of the equipped monster becomes the same as "Infinite Variety Assimilator, Aleph Null." Increase the ATK of this monster by the ATK by the equipped monster(this ATK increase remains, even after the equipped monster is unequipped). When this monster leaves the field, Special Summon the monster equipped to this card from your Graveyard. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time).

I think this is, at least, close to what you were going for. If I'm not mistaken, with the way I've worded it, you can stack your equips the way you wanted and boost atk along the way. Also sets you up for multiple "null union stacks" for lack of a better term. That being said, I think it's a bit OP. I would suggest saying that when a removed equipment is special summoned, it cant atk this turn. Also, maybe add a clause that says "You cannot activate the effects of "Infinite Variety Assimilator, Aleph Null" during the turn it was Special Summoned from your Graveyard by its own effect."

 Suggested effect w/ modifications:

Once per turn, you can equip this card to a Machine-Type monster you control whose Level is 3 higher than this card's, OR unequip it; Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this effect: The effect of the equipped monster becomes the same as "Infinite Variety Assimilator, Aleph Null." Increase the ATK of this monster by the ATK by the equipped monster(this ATK increase remains, even after the equipped monster is unequipped). When this monster leaves the field, Special Summon the monster equipped to this card from your Graveyard. If a monster is Special Summoned this way, It cannot attack or activate its effect(s) until the End Phase. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time).
