The Bathroom Fairy

Lockjaw.

Recommended Posts

Hi. First realistic card in years.

Don't know if it's balanced, not sure at all about the OCG either.

Fix my card if there's anything please.

Enjoy.

Lore:

This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can only be Special Summoned from your hand by banishing 1 Level 3 or lower LIGHT monster you control. This monster cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. Once per turn: During your Standby Phase, draw 1 card from the top of your Deck and add it to your hand. If the card you draw due to this effect is a Monster Card, you lose 400 Life Points. If it is a Spell or Trap Card, target a face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls and equip it to it. As long as the card remains equipped, the targeted monster's ATK is decreased by 200. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by a Spell or Trap Card effect, search your Deck for 1 LIGHT monster and banish it.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set.  Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing  1 Level 3 or lower LIGHT monster you control.  Cannot be destroyed by battle.  Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: Draw 1 card and reveal it, then if it was a monster, you lose 400 LP, if it was a Spell/Trap Card, apply this effect.

- Target 1 face-up Attack Position monster you opponent controls; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, the equipped monster loses 200 ATK.

When this card is sent to the Graveyard by a Spell/Trap effect: banish 1 LIGHT monster from your Deck.

I don't like it.  You are very likely to give it up due to the fact that it equips itself when you draw a Spell or Trap card (that or a monster is equipped to it... I couldn't tell, I deduced, after 15 minutes of trying to figure it out, that you wanted to equip this card to opponent's monster, look at the way you worded it: "equip it to it.")  On the other hand, if it takes, the card is awesome and I so would use.

So which was it exactly?

Thanks for the OCG fix! Actually am a francophone and don't practice my english much, so confusions like ''equip it to it.'' are likely to happen :P sorry about that! hmm i meant that the Spell or Trap Card that you draw is equipped to the opponent's monster. But then i just realised that maybe i should've stated that the Spell/Trap Card's effect is negated. It is just equipped to the opponent's monster for the sake of being equipped and being used for The bathroom fairy's effect! If you activate the actual Spell or trap card's effect in addition to this monster's effect it would get confusing, i assume!

Oh sweet lord jesus... That's going to be even harder to word... *Spends the next 20 minutes trying to figure it out*

SPECIAL THANKS to LL for helping me word this.

EDIT: This actually might be a modification from your original card effect... In your original text it seems to me that the losing 400 DMG did not start a new chain, yet this one does.  However since equipping does in fact start a chain in your original text it was modified to this.

That being the case I still dont' like the card b/c you lose the Spell/Trap card you draw with this effect... What if it was Soul Charge D:
