2 Interesting spell cards to check out

Designed to work with marauding captain, (There is a reason for the normal summon part). 

These 2 have been in experimental for a while and I think I have at a stage where they are pretty refined so I thought id give this a go.

 

Q.Do you feel the warriors call effect is slightly Op due to not specifying marauding captain? In other works, do you think I should change the card text to make it only work with MC?

Throne

The equipped monster gains half of the combined ATK of monsters (if any) to the left and right of the equipped monster's Monster Card Zone.  The ATK of monsters you control to the left and right of the equipped monster's Monster Card Zone become 0.

 

Call

Banish 1 card from your hand, then Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower Warrior-Type monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position. (This Special Summon is also treated as Normal Summon, and is not counted toward your Normal Summon/Set this turn.)

 

Notes: Cards in the Deck can never be targeted.  

 

 

You should strongly consider removing the drawback on Throne of empowerment.  It is unnecessary and unfairly punishes the user of the card.  Think about it, let's say you control a 2000 ATK monster and 2500 ATK monster, all you gain is 2250 ATK.  That sounds like a lot, but those are big monsters, you should be rewarded for having such strong monsters.  let's say you have two 1900 ATK monsters, that's only 1900 ATK boost.  Not to mention you might not a have monster to both the left and right of it.  So Yeah.

 

Call is fine as is.  I think you made it perfectly.  Very few users would use this card for Marauding captain.  Players who use this Deck would most likely be any Warrior Deck that relies on a Level 3 or lower Warrior-Type monster.  This is essentially a RotA in that regards.  This card is good and I'd look for cards to use this card with.

i don't like to a strictly annoying but remember you must only post 1 card in Single (we have Multiples for that)

 

so i'm gonna review only 1 of them... and apparently the most interesting

 

"Throne of of empowerment"

 

"the equipped monster gain ATK equal to half of the ATK of monster(s) on the left and right respective zone, then the ATK of these monster become 0 until this card is removed from the field "

 

so let's say we have 5 monster all with 2000 ATK so the equipped monster will be boosted by 4000 (6000), in exchange of rest become 0 for

 

but since the fact this card can go to beyond 4000 (which is the limit of "United We Stand) for me the reduction effect is balance.

 

from the card logic maybe some member will suggest this as OCG fixes:

"The equipped monster gain ATK equal to combine amount of half of other monster ATK respectively. then all other monster ATK becomes 0

 

but as for me (despite i'm not good at OCG fixing) i like to keep the Senet flavor on it (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Senet) in go with some thing like this:

 

"the equipped monster gain ATK equal to half of the ATK of each respective monster(s) adjacent to this card, then the ATK of those monster become 0 until this card is removed from the field "

 

in this version your monster can only gain ATK from Monster that Exactly on the side of it only. slightly weaker but it will overcome by playing big monster on its side. also you not entirely losing advantage in case the situation going bad  by allowing the monster to its next 2 cards zone to retain its attack

 

i like the senet flavor and its simplicity and for me its quite balance... good job

I was under the impression it only counted one to the left and one to the right.
