Megaman X - Maverick Hunters and Mavericks archetype

I had this idea for a while now, so I wanted to put it into work. These monsters are what I made so far, but I'll add Spell and Trap cards to support the archetype soon.
It's mainly focused around equipping X with various effects of the Mavericks, much like in the games. Also, in card effects, "Maverick" monsters apply only for monsters with "Maverick -" in their name, not X, Zero and Axl. There are two Mavericks from each game from X1 to X6, as well as Sigma.

Also, I used Japanese X5 names because the American ones are a bit... silly.
Anyway, here goes.

When this monster destroys an opponent's monster in battle, its ATK is increased by 200 and your Life Points by 400. Up to twice per turn, you can pay 800 Life Points to negate the destruction of this monster. When this monster is destroyed, you receive damage equal to the amount of cards equipped to this monster x 300.[/spoiler]

You can Special Summon this card from your hand if you control a face-up "Maverick Hunter X". If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. Once per turn, you can send one "Maverick" monster from your Spell/Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard to draw one card.[/spoiler]

If you control a face-up "Maverick Hunter X" along with this card, increase this card's ATK by 200 during each of your Standby Phases. Once per turn, you can target one Level 4 or lower monster your opponent controls and increase this card's ATK by half of the targeted monster's ATK until the End Phase.[/spoiler]

You can activate only one "Maverick" monster effect per turn.[/spoiler]

Cannot be Normal Summoned. Cannot be Special Summoned, except by banishing four "Maverick" monsters with different names from your Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, the ATK of all "Maverick Hunter" monsters you control becomes 0. This card gains 500 ATK for each "Maverick Hunter" monster you control. You can send any amount of "Maverick" monsters from your side of the field or hand to the Graveyard to destroy an equal amount of cards your opponent controls.[/spoiler]

 

That would be it for now. I realize some cards might be overpowered, so I'm taking suggestions. Coming back soon with Spell/Trap cards and maybe more monsters.

Hunter X

Up to twice per turn, if this card would be destroyed by battle or by card effect, you can pay 800 LP instead.  When this card destroys a monster by battle: This card gains 200 ATK and your opponent gains 400 LP.  When this card is destroyed: Inflict 300 damage to the original owner of this card for each equip card that was equipped to this card.  

 

It's okay.  The only thing I like is the protection.  I'm not impressed at all by the boost. 

 

 

Hunter Zero

If you control a face-up "Maverick Hunter X", you can Special Summon this card (from your hand).  If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing damage to your opponent.  Once per turn: You can send 1 "Maverick" monster card from your Spell/Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard; draw 1 card.

 

The draw effect is great.  Piercing is icing on the cake, and so is the SS.  Nice to have, but not particularly useful.  I changed the effect from Monster to Card b/c all cards, even monster cards in the S/T zone are always treated as only S/T, so that effect would never go off. 

 

 

Hunter Axl

During each of your Standby Phases, if you control "Maverick Hunter X": This card gains 200 ATK.  Once per turn: You can target 1 Level 4 or lower monster your opponent controls: Until the End Phase, this card gains ATK equal to half the attack of that target.  

 

Not bad, no net advantage, just atk boosters.  You need cards to net advantage like Zero. 

 

 

Penguin

During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; that target cannot attack during your opponent's next turn.  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn.  

 

Your last restriction restricts your whole Deck.  Change it to "Maverick Chill Penguin" card effect instead.  The card is way too weak and I'd never use this unless I absolutely had to (like the deck revolved around S/T and no other S/T had a usable effect).  Amplify the effect.  

 

 

Mandrill

During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control: equip this card to that target, and if you do, that target gains 300 ATK.  While equipped by this effect, once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; halve its ATK.  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn.

 

This guy's effect is much better.  But you need to get rid of that horrendous restriction.  In addition, you MUST make this guy level 4.  

 

 

Flamestag

During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, once per turn: You can inflict 600 damage to your opponent.  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn.  

 

Remove restriction PLEASE, it KILLS this Deck.  This effect is too weak, I don't like, how about an opponent's monster loses 600 ATK?  

 

 

Centipede

During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, once per turn: You can target 1 face-up Attack Position monster on the field; return that target to the hand.  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn.  

 
Beautiful effect!  Splendid, finally a good equip (Sandrill would be good if he was Level 4)  Kills Extra Deck monsters :D  Awesome, balanced, and powerful.  
 
 
Beetle
During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, once per turn: You can target 1 Set Spell/Trap card on the field; destroy that target.  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn.
 
Useful effect I like.  Since he's level 4 he's probably the best you've made so thus far.  Restriction D:
 
 
Seahorse
During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, once per turn: You can target 1  face-up monster your opponent controls; that target loses 200 ATK for each card on your side of the field.  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn. 
 
You should be able to lower it by at least 800 I would think.  Not bad, but it's level 4 so it is bad D:  You do know the way you worded them means you can't equip them from your hand, you have to NS this guy first, then equip, ew.  Also restriction *heart attack*. 
 
 
Storm Owl
During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, if the equipped monster would be destroyed, you can destroy this card instead.  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn. 
 
Hey that restriction *stroke*.  Useful.  But I'd rather use Beetle and Centipede both at 3 before using a single copy of this.
 
 
Slash Beast
Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by sending 2 "Maverick" equip you control equipped to "Maverick Hunter X" to the Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways.  During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, the equipped monster can attack twice during each Battle Phase.  
 
No restriction! HIP HIP HOOOOOORAY :D  SS effect is neato, but I wouldn't send a beetle or centipede for this.  But being 1 of your boss monsters, you gave it such a LAME equip effect, double atk... That would be nice if Hunter X had like 2500 ATK or more.  Although I guess he could boost each turn, still not worth the beetle and/or centipede (the only equips I'd use as of now).  Edits later made: And Shining, but I wouldn't send shining for this either.
 
 
Shining
During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, once per turn: You can discard 1 card; add 1 Level 5 or lower "Maverick" monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn. 
 
YES!  This is like... Qliphort Tool in Qliphorts.  Without Tool Qliphorts would cease to exist (they'd suck), but with Tool they're Tier 1.  This is your Qliphort Tool.  It's PERFECT!  3 Beetle, 3 Centipede, and 3 Shining and NO OTHER EQUIPS  (cuz the other suck).  This is by far not only the best equip, but best card.  
 
 
Dinorex
Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by sending 3 "Maverick" equip cards you control equipped to "Maverick Hunter X" to the Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways.  During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish that target.  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn. 
 
Although really powerful and good, he's simply too hard to get out and I would avoid using him for that reason.  3 is too much.  
 
 
Yammark
During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 Spell/Trap card you control; until the End Phase, that target cannot be destroyed by card effects.  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn. 
 
I would use 1 only cuz I can search it with Shining and more importantly it can protect shining.
 
 
Infinity
During your Main Phase: You can target 1 "Maverick Hunter X" you control; equip this card to that target.  While equipped by this effect, once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 "Mijinion Token" (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 500/DEF 500).  You can only activate 1 "Maverick" monster's effect per turn, and only once that turn. 
 
Although a free token is nice I don't see how it helps the Deck in any direct way and it's outclassed by beetle, centipede, and (of course) shining.
 
 
Sigma
Cannot be Normal Summoned (but can be Normal Set).  Must be Special Summoned by banishing 4 "Maverick" monsters with different names from your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways.  While you control this face-up card, the ATK of all "Maverick Hunter" monsters you control are reduced to 0.  This card gains 500 ATK for each "Maverick Hunter" monster you control.  Once per turn: You can send any number of "Maverick" monsters from your hand or your side of the field to the Graveyard, then target the same number of cards your opponent controls; destroy those targets.  
 
For your King boss monster his effect is weak.  I wouldn't use him.  Boss monsters shouldn't be one for ones, play times over, this guy shows your opponent whose boss lol, that's what you banished 4 of your monsters for, to win, not break even.  Also I don't like boss monsters that can be normal set by any player :|  
 
 
Summary: 
-Make all the Maverick monsters (that don't equip) should be treated as "Maverick Hunter X" while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard for better consistency of this Deck.  
-Give something that can help equip cards quicker.  I recommend a continuous Spell card that allows you to latch on one of those equips to your Hunter X hunter.
-I made the effects of Dinorex and Slash Beast SS b/c  Normal Summons must be done with tributes.  Don't use Mausoleum of the Emperor as an Example, it Normal Summons as an effect (instead of tributes)  You cannot make Inherent Normal Summons Effects.  And besides SS is better for this deck and what it needs.
