Armoire
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can discard 1 card and target 1 card in the Spell & Trap Card Zone on each side of the field; switch control of those targets. This card gains 100 ATK for each Spell/Trap Card on the field.
Recently, I've been really fascinated that certain cards play with the game mechanics that switch yours and your opponent's cards, which in my opinion, promotes player interaction. I wanted to play with the concept and make something useful, but not to the point where it completely ruins the game. Is the cost too much or too little? Is the effect worth it at all? Wildflame
The cost is ok. It might even be unnecessary. Did you have any particular combos in mind when making this?
Armoire
The cost is ok. It might even be unnecessary. Did you have any particular combos in mind when making this? To be honest, no. But now that I think about it, this card can interact with Fiendish Chain and Call of the Haunted to give you a free, potentially powerful play, depending on the opponent's Spell/Trap Card. Think I should give it a "your opponent cannot activate the targeted card in response to this card's activation" clause, to make the cost worth it and to make its effect have more potency? Also, with how it's currently worded, it can target Pendulum Monsters, too, so I'll probably change that. Edit: Changed the effect to only target cards in the Spell & Trap Card Zone. pwnyo
I made a card a lot like this for Sakura's new contest, but the differences are pretty noticeable. Generous Ringmaster has the potential to be a nice beater, but also has a versatile effect: like Little Tengu, it can switch control of Spells and Traps. This is even better than a bounce or spin, because you can get rid of a threat and give your opponent something potentially useless or even beneficial to you (say, a Fire Formation - Tenki in a Fire Fist Deck, witha forced activation using Bait Doll). However, its effect is somewhat difficult to use with a cost up front, so it does require skill to utilize properly. Nice card, dude! :D
