Powerful Destruction for Dark/Fiend decks

Well, I'm feeling very evil at the moment, so I decided to make 2 cards:
1 card that destroys things.
And 1 card that makes my FAVORITE monster infinitely more devastating.
 
With that out of the way, my evil card that can fit into a pseudo-dark/fiend deck:

You must pay 2000 life points to activate this card.
You must control at least 2 monsters that are not fiend-type or dark-attribute.
You can not declare an attack during the turn you activate this card.
You can not activate card effects until your 2nd standby phase after activating this card.
-Banish all face-up monsters on the field that are not fiend-type or dark-attributed. All face-down monsters are banished.[/spoiler]

And next, my card that supports my FAVORITE card in the game:

You can only activate this card if you have 4000 or more life points.
Set your life points to 1000.
-During your next turn, you can normal summon one level 5-8 dark attribute monster without tributes. If that monster has an effect which increases its attack, the increase in its attack is doubled.[/spoiler]

Cannot be Special Summoned. You can pay half your Life Points; destroy all other cards on the field, and if you do, banish them. This card gains 300 ATK for each card destroyed this way. During the End Phase of the turn this card was Summoned: Send it to the Graveyard.[/spoiler]

Now, let me just say one thing, I have tried to use this card in dozens of duels. It has been useful once.
There are literally dozens of cards that counter this, as well as other "otk" combos that are simply a lot more efficient than this.
Even if you managed to pull off the combo, there are still quite a few cards your opponent could have in their hand that basically would cause you to lose instantly (due to you having 500lp at the end of your turn).
