New main deck boss mechanics

Everyone loves main deck boss monsters, right? What can beat Pendulum Summoning? Amzturm Summoning is a form of Special Summon. Summoning using 2 monsters where each monster must either matches the type or attribute of the Amztrum Monster, One must at least match it's type and the other one must at least match its attribute you are trying to Amzturm Summon from your hand plus, the 2 Amztrum Materials level MUST equal the level of the Amzturm Monster. Amzturm is often just shorted to [AMZ]. Amzturm Monsters are Main Deck monsters with levels, the top half is purple and the bottom half is orange or yellow (dependent on whether it is an Effect Monster or a Normal Monster), both halves have red swirls on each halve of the card as well. You can not Normal Summon or, Advance Summon Amzturm Monsters because they they prefer their Amzturm Summoning mechanics, you can still set them.

How to Amzturm Summon a Amzturm Monster: 2 monsters on your side of the field and 1 Amzturm monster in your hand. You check the 2 monsters to see if they meet the requirements Example the LIGHT Level 4 Warrior-Type Satellarknight Altair and the Level 4 DARK Zombie-Type Zombie Master give you the chance to Amzturm Summon: A level 8 LIGHT Zombie-Type Amzturm monster from your hand. or A Level 8 DARK Warrior-Type Amzturm monster from your hand. When an entire archetype have the same type and or attribute it makes Amzturm Summoning much easier since that fulfill 2 of the 4 requirements. Once per turn, when you Amzturm Summon an Amzturm monster from your hand, you can Summon 1 lower level Amzturm monster from form either your Deck or Graveyard. This is also treated as Amzturm Summon but, you can use do this only once per turn.

An Amzturm Summon can be negated by cards that negate Special Summons like "Solemn Warning" and "Thunder King Rai-Oh"; however, if more than 1 monster would be Amzturm Summoned at the same time, then cards like "Thunder King Rai-Oh" or "Horn of Heaven" that specify they can only be activated when exactly 1 monster would be Summoned cannot be activated.

If an Amzturm monster (does not care if it was amzturm summon or not) in your possession would be destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle, or by card effect): you can place it in you spell/trap zone as a face-up Hyber card (this is treated as you activated the Hyber Card and face-up Hyber cards are not treated as face-up spells or traps) When Hyber Cards are activated Special Summon Level 1 Amzturm token (with the SAME TYPE AND ATTRIBUTE OF THE DESTROYED AMZTURM MONSTER but, 0 ATK and 0 DEF in defense position) and place Amzturm Counters on the Hyber Card equal to the number of face-up NON-TOKEN amzturm monster you control and in your Graveyard.

When a Hyber card is leaves the field OR the token that hyber card summon leaves the field, the other card is sent to the graveyard, similar to CotH but, for any reason it leaves the field. When a Hyber Card have Amzturm Counters equal to OR more than it's level you can Special Summon it as an Amzturm monster (this not treated as an Amzturm Summon, it is just a regular old Special Summon.)

Lexphor Specter: Level 2 FIRE Fiend-Type
non-Tuner Effect monster 1000 Attack and 800 Defense
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Lexphor Crusader Token (Warrior-Type/DARK/Level 2/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position, and it cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster and cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon. You cannot Special Summon other monsters except Token and Amzturm monsters during the turn you activate this card's effect.

Welkbeg, Fate Slayer: Level 4 FIRE Warrior-Type
non-Tuner Effect Amzturm monster 1800 Attack and 1300 Defense
When this card is Amzturm Summon, shuffle 1 Spell card in your Graveyard and 1 monster card in your hand into your Deck to draw 1 card. When your opponent activate a Trap card, banish 1 Trap card in your Graveyard and if you do; negate that card's effect, you can only activate this effect of "Welkbeg, Fate Slayer" once per turn.

Ziagref, Doom Wrought: Level 4 DARK Fiend-Type
non-Tuner Effect Amzturm monster 1300 Attack and 1800 Defense
When this card is Amzturm Summon, shuffle 1 Trap card in your Graveyard and 1 Spell card in your hand into your Deck to draw 1 card. When your opponent activate a monster's effect banish 1 Spell card in your Graveyard and if you do; negate that card's effect, you can only activate this effect of "Ziagref, Doom Wrought" once per turn Jhokwen, Space

Time Manager: Level 3 WIND Winged Beast-Type
non-Tuner Effect Amzturm monster 800 Attack and 300 Defense
When this card is Amzturm Summon, you can tribute this card to draw 1 card. Once per turn during either player's turn you can pay 800 Life Points to inflict 500 damage to your opponent Life Points, then excavate the top card your Deck, send any excavated monsters to the Graveyard, also place the other cards on the bottom of your Deck in any order.

Far, far to complicated.

It would make YuGiOh become another game than the game i would like to play.

 

Well, i said that about P-Summon too. :D

 

Just by the way: If you'd make some example cards and give your thread a better order perhaps others would be understanding what you wrote too.

I just needed about 5 readings before i could make a sense of it for me. :(

It was there but, all jumbled up and crammed together by some mistake.

We have Xyz and Fusion already. What I am trying to say is this new form of summoning is way too complicated and is already similar to Xyz summoning, just this time more unnecessary. 

 

And monsters that require a special condition to summon already exist. (cough)Nomi(cough)
