The Seeker of Ancient Power - DARK Tuner New Version

New idea! Ever heard of those DARK tuners from the anime? This guy kinda comes off the concept. You can alter its rank by discarding, then you can send a monster you control to the grave and detach 1, to Sycnrho Summon! But the Sync's monster's level is equal to its rank - the Sent monsters level. The Seeker of Ancient Power can easily become a staple card in decks, since a lot of decks are mainly level 4 monsters nowadays, allowing u to xyz him, discard 2 to become rank 12, then you can detach 1 and send one of your level 4s to sync a level 8 easily.

Detach 1 from Revival to Special Summon a monster from your Graveyard, then retach the material to Ancient Power
Detach 1 from Revival to Special Summon a monster from your Graveyard, then retach the material to Stars
Discard 1 card to decrease Stars rank to rank 1
Detach 1 from Stars to make 1 of the Special Summoned monsters level 1
Detach 1 from Stars to make the other Special Summoned monster level 1
Discard 2 cards to increase Ancient Power's rank to 12
Detach 1 from Ancient Power and send 1 of the Special Summoned monster to grave to Special Summon Light-Speed
Detach 1 from Ancient Power and send the other Special Summoned monster to grave to Special Summon Challenge
Light-Speed effect, make Stars rank 8
Detach 1 from Stars to make Revival level 8
Detach 1 from Ancient Power and send Revival to grave to Special Summon Sudden Death
Sudden Death effect, draw 2
Sudden Death effect, return Stars, Special Summon a level 4 from grave
Challenge effect, return Ancient Power, Special Summon a level 4 from grave
Xyz Summon Forbidden Power with the 2 Special Summoned monsters and Sudden Death
Sudden Death effect, discard 1 to banish 2 of your opponent cards
Detach 1 from Forbidden Power, use effect on Light-Speed
Challenge effect on Light-Speed
Detach 2 from Forbidden Power, Special Summon detached materials and Xyz Summon with them
Go into BP, Light-Speed can attack 3 times with effect, when it attacks opponent cannot activate cards or effects due to Challenge effect, and when it destroys a monster by battle add a The Seeker Spell/Trap Card from deck to hand with Forbidden Power effect

You can target 1 other monster you control and discard 1 card, then declare a number from 1 to 12; the target's level becomes the declared number, until the End Phase (if the target is an Xyz Monster, its rank is treated as a level until the End Phase). You can target a monster you control that has a level; send the target to the Graveyard, then Special Summon, from your Extra Deck, a Synchro Monster whose level is equal to this card's level minus the target's level (this is treated as a Synchro Summon).

I was thinking of make it discard 1 to increase/reduce rank by up to 3. would that be better?
