cElectricFanG
I apologize for any errors on this post and in my formatting, I'm new to YCS so please bear with me and help out! I was just playing a Utopia Roots LV 1 deck and I loved this one card called Kinka-Byo, since it really is good for a Mystic Piper draw engine. It was a Spirit card, so I said "Hey let's give a shot at this whole creating cards thing." AND BOOM I came up with the Embodiments archetype. The pics are from Sword-Summoner's album and GENZOMAN so you may have seen the art before. The whole archetype is a work in progress, as I am still coming up with support cards and new monsters. So far there are 7 monsters, 5 main ones, a boss, and a support. Please let me know if you think some cards are OP, I personally think they're fine, but if you have something to say, please explain and I will try to fix it! EDIT 2: Astral Embodiments! Only 2 now, but more to come! Main Monsters (includes Extra Deck Monsters) Lore: Cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to it's owner's hand during the End Phase it was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, draw 1 card. If it is an "Embodiment" card, you can draw another card. Cards cannot be discarded by opponent's card effects as long as this card is face-up on the field. Lore: Cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to it's owner's hand during the End Phase it was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, return 1 card on both player's fields to their respective Decks. If this effect is negated, you can send the top card of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard. Lore: Cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to it's owner's hand during the End Phase it was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, Special Summon as many Spirit monsters from your hand as possible. Their effects are negated and they cannot attack or change their battle position. Return them to the hand during the End Phase. Lore: Cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to it's owner's hand during the End Phase it was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, return 1 random card from each players' Graveyard to their respective Decks. This card gains the following effect depending on the card returned to your deck. •Monster: draw 1 card. •Spell/Trap; add that card to your hand. Lore: Cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to it's owner's hand during the End Phase it was Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, destroy 1 card you control and 1 card your opponent controls. Support (Monsters, Spells and Traps) Lore: You can discard this card to add 1 "Embodiment" monster to your hand. You can banish this card from the Graveyard to add one "Embodiment" Spell/Trap card to your hand. You can only activate the effect of "Wizard of Spirit" once per turn. Lore: Tribute 1 'Embodiment" monster. Destroy 2 cards your opponent controls. Icarus Attack. Nuff said. Lore: EDIT: Every time an "Embodiment" monster is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, you can add 1 Spirit Counter to this card (max. 3). You can send this card to the Graveyard while it has 3 Spirit Counters on it to add 1 "Embodiment" monster, Spell, or Trap from your Deck to your hand. You can only control 1 face up "Sub-Space Portal, Embodiment of Heart" at a time. Lore: All "Embodiment" monsters you control cannot be targeted by card effects, except their own. You can send this card to the Graveyard to add 1 "Embodiment" monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect, you can add this card back to your hand instead of conducting your normal Draw Phase. If you do, you cannot activate this card's second effect. Basically protects your monsters and guarantees their effects resolving, and is also a searching engine. Lore: When a card effect is activated, you can discard 1 "Embodiment" card to negate that card effect and destroy it. You can only activate 1 "Embodiment Ambush!" per turn. Divine Wrath with more utility, but it's a once per turn thing so it isn't OP. Lore: EDIT: Activate only if you control a face-up "Sub-Space Portal, Embodiment of Heart" while it has 3 Spirit Counter on it. Send it to the Graveyard and send an "Embodiment" monster from your hand to your Graveyard, and Special Summon 1 Level 10 or higher "Embodiment" monster from your Deck in face-up Attack Position. It cannot attack during the turn it was first summoned. If that monster is destroyed, add 1 "Embodiment" Spell/Trap card from your Graveyard to your hand, except this card. Bosses (The Huge Ones) Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by discarding 5 "Embodiment" Spirit monsters with different names. When this card is Special Summoned, you can target 1 random card your opponent controls, and depending on the card, activate one of these following effects. •Monster: Special Summon 1 "Embodiment" monster from your Deck. •Spell/Trap: Destroy that card, and then add 1 "Embodiment" Spell/Trap card to your hand. As long as this card is face up on the field, Special Summoning is treated as Normal Summoning, and Spirit monsters do not return to the hand. You can only control 1 face-up "Uraheim, Embodiment of Hope". Lore: This card can only be Summoned with the effect of "Ascend! The First Embodiments!". When this card is Summoned, send all copies of "Wrath, Embodiment of Rage" you have in your Deck and hand to the Graveyard. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can banish 1 "Embodiment" Spirit monster in your Graveyard to banish 1 face-up card your opponent controls. If this card is destroyed, Special Summon 1 "Wrath, Embodiment of Rage" from your Deck, hand, Graveyard, or Banished Zone. This Special Summon is treated as a Normal Summon. Lore: This card can only be Summoned with the effect of "Ascend! The First Embodiments!". When this card is Summoned, send all copies of "Penexor, Embodiment of Vigor" you have in your Deck and hand to the Graveyard. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can banish 1 "Embodiment" Spirit monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Embodiment" monster from your Deck, regardless of its effect. That card's Level is reduced to 1, it's ATK and DEF reduced to 0, and it cannot change it's Battle Position. When this card is destroyed, Special Summon 1 "Penexor, Embodiment of Vigor" from your Deck, hand Graveyard, or Banished Zone. This Special Summon is treated as a Normal Summon. Cosmo.
I quite like them, there are some ocg errors, but most of them are not that big, and i always liked spirit monsters. The card that seems most broken to me is panicka, (first of all, where do the cards return?) because skipping the draw phase isn't that big of a deal, and that effect is really powerful ,so i suggest you to tone it down a bit. But other that that they are fine
