EDIT:  Added "Rocketeer Destroyer",  "Rocketeer Returner", "Rocketeer Mindmaster" and "Astral Observatory" to the set

Hi guys. For some reason I like the "Rocket Warrior" card. I know it's not a very good card, but it served as inspiration for a new archtype of light warrior-type monster. Basically it's a set of monsters that cannot be destroyed by battle and take no battle damage during your turn, and get their effects activated if they battle a monster.

P.S.: This is my first post here, if anyone knows of any good pictures for those cards (or where I can find them), please post it in the comments  :) 

Rocket Warrior is intended to be part of this set, so I have to change it's text a bit in order to make it work with support cards.

 

Effect Monsters:

 

Rocketeer Warrior (LIGHT/Warrior-type/ Level 4/ATK 1500/ DEF 1300)
This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. Any monster that battles this card has its ATK decreased by 500 points until the end phase after damage calculation. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase.

Rocketeer Commander (LIGHT/Warrior-type/ Level 5/ATK 1900/ DEF 1300)
You can special summon this card by tributing 1 "Rocketeer Warrior".This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. Any monster that battles this card has its ATK decreased by 700 points until the end phase after damage calculation. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase.

Rocketeer Paladin (LIGHT/Warrior-type/ Level 7/ATK 2300/ DEF 1800)
You can special summon this card by tributing 1 "Rocketeer Commander".This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. Any monster that battles this card has its ATK decreased by 1000 points until the end phase of the next turn after damage calculation. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase.

Rocketeer Spellcaster (LIGHT/Warrior-type/Level 4/ATK 1600/ DEF 1800)
This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase. If this card battles a monster and the opponent's monster is not destroyed by battle, activate 1 of the following effects:

  • gain 500 life points
  • inflict 500 points of direct damage to your opponent

 

 

D.D. Rocketeer (LIGHT/Warrior-type/ Spirit /Level 2/ATK 800/ DEF 400)

This card cannot be special summoned and returns to its owner's hand during the end phase of the turn it is normal summoned or flipped face-up.This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. If this card battle a monster and that monster is not destroyed by battle, remove it from play until your opponent's 2nd standby phase. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase.

Rocketeer Armorbreaker (LIGHT/Warrior-type/Level 3/ATK 1000/ DEF 200)
This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. If this card battles a monster and it's not destroyed by battle, you can tribute this card to make the ATK of the monster that battled this card 0. During your 3rd end phase after you use this effect, you can return this card from your graveyard to your hand. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase

Rocketeer Shaman (LIGHT/Warrior-type/Level 5/ATK 2000/ DEF 1700)
This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. If this card battles a monster and the opponent's monster is not destroyed by battle, you can select 1 monster from your graveyard with and ATK equal or lower than the ATK of the monster that battle this card and return it to your hand. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase.

 

Rocketeer Supporter (LIGHT/Warrior-type/Level 4/ATK 600/ DEF 1300)
When your opponent declares an attack targeting a "rocketeer" monster you control, you can discard this card. The targeted monster's effect is not negated during this battle. During your main phase, you can remove this card from your graveyard to special summon 1 "Rocketeer Warrior" from your graveyard.

Rocketeer Striker (LIGHT/Warrior-type/Level 4/ATK 1000/ DEF 1000)
This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. If this card battles a monster, increase this monster's ATK by 500 points (permanently). This attack increases lasts even if this card effect is negated. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase.

Rocketeer Overlord (LIGHT/Warrior-type/Level 5/ATK 500/ DEF 2000)
This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card cannot be special summoned except by tributing 1 "Rocketeer" monster you control, and is changed to defense position during your end phase. You can remove from play 1 "Rocketeer" monster from your graveyard to make this monster gain it's effect until the end phase. If this card would be destroyed, you can send 1 other "Rocketeer" monster from your hand or field to the graveyard instead. While this card is on the field,"Rocketeer" monsters you control do not have their effects negated during your opponent's battle phase.

Rocketeer Destroyer: (LIGHT/Warrior-type/Level 4/ATK 1700/ DEF 1900)
This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. Any tribute or special summoned monster that battles this card is destroyed after damage calculation. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase.


Rocketeer Returner (LIGHT/Warrior-type/Level 4/ATK 1500/ DEF 1400)
This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. Any monster that battles this card is returned to its owners hand after damage calculation. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase.

 

 

Rocketeer Mindmaster (LIGHT/Warrior-type/Level 4/ATK 1800/ DEF 1200)
This card cannot be destroyed by battle and you take no damage from a battle involving this card. Take control of any monster this card battles until the end of the battle phase, but you cannot declare an attack with it. This card's effect is negated during your opponent's battle phase.


Spells:
 

Astral Observatory (field)

Everytime a "Rocketeer" monster that is not having its effect negated battles an opponent's monster, put 1 counter on this card. All "Rocketeer" monsters you control gain 100 ATK for each counter on this card. When your opponent attacks a "rocketeer" monster you control, you can remove 3 counters from this card to make your monster effect not be negated during this battle.

 

Backup Shield (continuous)
"Rocketeer" monsters you control do not have their effects negated during the first battle during your opponent's battle phase.

 

Twin's Defense Tactics (continuous)
While you control 2 or more "Rocketeer" monsters with the same name, their effects are not negated during your opponent's battle phase.If one of those monsters leave the field, all other monsters with the same name are destroyed.

 

Rocket Combo (equip)
Equip only to a "Rocketeer" monster you control. If it battles a monster and the opponent's monster is not destroyed by battle, it can attack once again.

Effect Boost (equip)
A "Rocketeer" monster equipped with this card do not have its effect negated during your opponent's battle phase
 

 

Traps:

Rocket Sakuretsu Armor
Activate only when your opponent attacks a "rocketeer" monster that is not currently having its effect negated. Destroy the attacking monster. If you have 3 or more "Rocketeer" monsters with different names in your graveyard, return this card to your deck instead of sending it to the graveyard.

Double Zero (continuous)
If your opponent attacks a monster that is currently having it's effect negated, negate your opponent's monster effect until your next end phase.

Rocket Interceptation (continuous)
Once per turn: when your opponent declares an attack, you can change the target to another "rocketeer" monster you control.
