Rank 8
Cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters. During either player's turn, when your opponent activates a Spell effect: You can negate the activation, then banish that Spell Card and this card. If this card banished by this effect is Special Summoned: Attach the Spell Cards banished by this card's effect to this card as Xyz Materials. (manga effect)

what a weird effect, discuss?

It's another of those hybrids, isn't it?

I'm assuming it has another effect that actually involves its Overlay Units, otherwise, this card is just dumb. I'm assuming there was a combo used with Galaxy Journey, because it doesn't seem to have an effect to bring itself back like Galaxy-Eyes does.

Yep it was used with Galaxy Journey to break the villiain E'Rah despair combo

Another plot device Number.....

By definition all the Numbers are plot devices, this is just one of the more blatant ones. At least it's a neat idea. My guess is it will auto-summon itself in the End Phase.

Also, anyone else notice a difference between the anime and manga Galaxy-Eyes spinoffs? The anime ones focussed on boosting ATK, but the anime ones all have self-banishing effects (in the manga anyway.

I hope 70, 77 and 28 being rewritten doesn't prevent them from being printed. They're taking their sweet time completing the series as it is.

The Fake Numbers certainly haven't helped with that, nor did all the WDC filler duels or the Barian Invasion fillers (seriously, Angineer and co could have been Numbers).

Don't forget Number 5 never being shown. If it were up to me, I'd replace that whole Chaos Number spam Vector was doing with him showcasing Number 5, and then following it up with C5 the following episode when its base form dies, especially since Admiration of the Thousands' IRL effect would allow for that.

Ok. So not only are we never finding out what Deadly Sin did, but this pretty much cements it Zexal is the worst of the five series. Fake Numbers were bad enough, but now they're REWRITING THEM?

Yeah, Number 70 got rewritten into Number 37 by Shark, and Number 28: Titanic Moth got rewritten into this by Kaito; Yuma has yet to rewrite Number 77: The Seven Sins into anything.  At least Number 70 and 28 being re-molded by those guys makes sense story-wise.
