Once per turn: You can banish 1 Fiend-Type monster from your Graveyard; excavate the top card of your Deck and if it is a Fiend-Type monster or a Spell/Trap card, add it to your hand. Otherwise, send it to the Graveyard. You can only control 1 "Impish Experimenter."Synergy with Devil's Contract by bringing out a 1800 DEF wall onto your side of the board that allows for you to draw additional cards. Obviously requires prior set-up, but pay-off seems a lot more worth it when you're able to gain multiple draws a turn. Only downside is that he doesn't play well with non-Fiends. Thoughts? Assuming most your monsters are Fiend-Type, then with a little setup this is a solid wall for a no-tribute that's almost certainly a +1 and pretty likely to +2. Thinking about it a bit more it does have restrictions and require setup, and it's not horribly fast, so it might not be as bad as I thought. One nice way to handle it might be to make it unable to grab Spells but still able to grab Traps. Fiends seem a natural match for Traps and it adds a new consideration in Deck construction. That &/or setting the DEF to 1700/1750, as we have quite a few 1800 beaters, would probably make me a lot more comfortable with this. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
