narrat0r
I've never actually been too much of a DotA fan, but the variety between Heroes, their visual design and abilities was always a thing I enjoyed and one of the rare things that kept me going back to the game. So, in a bit of an inspiration rush, I made four cards based on the effects of some of my favorite DotA heroes. Keep in mind that these aren't a part of any archetype, but instead serve more as tech cards in decks that can easily summon them. Leave suggestions if any cards are OP or UP. Abaddon, Vessel of Avernus Fiend/6/DARK/Xyz/Effect (2600/1800) 2 Level 6 DARK monsters Once per turn: You can pay any multiple of a 100 Life Points (max. 1000), then target 1 face-up monster on the field; it loses ATK equal to the amount of Life Points paid. Once per turn, during either player's turn: you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; until the end of this turn, whenever you would take damage you gain that amount of Life Points instead. Infernal Warlock Spellcaster/7/DARK/Effect (1600/2600) You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by Tributing 2 Level 5 or higher DARK monsters. Once per turn: you can banish 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Infernal Token" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 6/ATK 2500/DEF 1000) in Attack Position. "Infernal Token" cannot attack during the turn it's Summoned. Netherdrake Viper Reptile/6/Wind/Synchro/Effect (2500/1700) 1 Tuner + 1 or more Reptile-type monsters Inflict 500 points of damage to your opponent's Life Points during each of their Standby Phases. When this card declares an attack: you can banish 1 Reptile-type monster from your Graveyard; this card gains ATK equal to the banished monster's ATK until the end of the Battle Phase. The Faceless Void Psychic/8/DARK/Synchro/Effect (2000/3000) 1 DARK Tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monsters Once per turn, during your opponent's Standby Phase: you can target cards on the field, up to the number of cards in your hand; banish this card, and if you do, negate the targeted cards' effects until the End Phase, also, if any monsters were targeted with this effect, they cannot declare an attack this turn. During the End Phase, if this effect was activated this turn (and was not negated): You can Special Summon this banished card. That would be it. Please correct any spelling/PSCT mistakes if found. -Griffin
As a Dota fan, these seem pretty thematic for the heroes, and the balance is probably ballpark right, depending on if you were going for the current meta or something a bit more sane. This should be in the multiples forum though.
