Althemia Posted December 31, 2014 Report Share Posted December 31, 2014 If this card in your possession is sent to your Graveyard by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect): You can target 1 "Vampire" monster in your Graveyard, except "Vampire Noble"; Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position and, if you do, you can activate 1 "Vampire Kingdom" from your Graveyard. During your Main Phase, if you control a face-up "Vampire Kingdom": You can banish this card from your Graveyard; once during this turn, you can Tribute Summon 1 monster your opponent controls for the Tribute Summon of a "Vampire" monster._____Let's be honest here, Vampires got shafted really hard. Reliance upon a vulnerable Field Spell and combo pieces in order to get rid of threats really hurts, especially since all of those cards are Level 5 and above. So let's give them a bit of love by making the Field Spell less vulnerable due to now being recycable and at the same time even more valuable by being your 2nd Soul Exchange! He's also a key target to mill off of Vampire Kingdom, making sure that you're capable of breaking boards so long as Kingdom sticks. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Saiba Aisu Posted January 2, 2015 Report Share Posted January 2, 2015 Normally I would say this guy is pretty powerful, but you're right, compared to the Shadolls and Burning Abyss, Vampires definitely need some more love. I think you did a great job of combining a strong aesthetic with synergy for the archetype! I appreciate that you made the Soul Exchange effect limited to once per turn, just in case there are multiple copies of this guy in the grave... Overall, nice work.
