A new tournament has begun duelist from around the whole world gather in battle city to compete in this huge tournament. 12 could enter the finals only 1 could win. Kaiba already gave his word to begin the tournament but everyone was still getting their battle city duel disk. only about 100 people got there duel disk early because the planed ahead of time instead of waiting till the last moment. outside the building nobody was dueling. Then a boy named Stephen walked out of the building and was ready to go.

Stephen- alright who is going to be my 1st opponent?

Stephen searched for a duelist that looked like he could have fun in a duel. Then he saw a girl in a red jacket she looked about 14 years old ,and she looked like a good duelist.

Stephen-(nervous) Uhh hi... w-would you like to duel?

girl- sure whats your name.

Stephen- Stephen Nova. your name

girl- Sidney Roberts. anyway lets start our duel.

Stephen- You got it

Stephen and Sidney- get your game on.

Stephen-Draw I summon advanced hero captain wind in attack mode 1200/1200. A monster with feathers all over his body appear on the field.

Stephen- Then I play 1 facedown. Now I attack with captain wind go tornado strike.

The monster released a huge tornado of feather on the facedown card. The card was flip over and the monster was Banisher of light 100/2000

Sidney- I knew you would attack Stephen thats why that attack cost you some points

Stephen- I end my turn.

Sidney-I draw and sacrifice my banisher of light to summon Dark magician girl 2000/1700.

Stephen- cool!! you have Dark magician girl I always wanted to see her in real life.

Sidney- Well enjoy it Stephen. Cause I play Dark core. By discarding a card from my hand to the graveyard I'm able to remove one of your monsters from play that are on the field. I guess I'll choose your captain wind to be removed from the game.

Stephen- You're pretty and deadly Sidney.

Sidney- You don't say do ya Stevie. Well remove that monster from play.

Stephen grabbed the card an slid it into his back pocket.

Sidney- Now dark magician girl attack Stephen directly.

The Dark magician girl pointed her staff at Stephen and shot out her dark magic attack.

Stephen- I activate draining shield

Sidney- sorry I activate mystical space typhoon this spell destroys your draining shield.

the card was blown into Stephen graveyard, and Dark magician girl continued her attack.

Sidney- come on Stephen fight I'm getting tired of this lame duel.

Stephen- Well I'm sorry let me show you some cool cards ok. Draw, I summon advanced hero-thunder kid 1800/1600. Now I lay down polymerization I fuse thunder kid with advance hero ground shaker to create advance hero lightning knight 2600/2300. Next I'll attack dark magician girl with lightning knight.

The magician got a terrified look on her face then she was slash and sent to the graveyard.

Stephen- Now I'll activate lighting knight ability when he destroys a monster and does damage to your life points you lose damage for half your monster attack and defense point.

Sidney- That 1000 for the attack and 850 for the defense. In total thats 1850 life points!!!!

Stephen- good now lightning knight deduct those points.

The monster dash at Sidney and slashed her twice.

Sidney- pretty impressive. Draw I summon Breaker the magical warrior 1600/1000. Now Breaker has 1 spell counter on himself, and his limit is one.

Stephen- It won't help you because he gains only 300 attack points. So he is 700 attack points shy of defeating my lighting knight.

Sidney- Well aren't we the smart ones. you should probably pay attention to my turn Steven. I play pot of greed this lets me draw 2 cards. now I play demotion this downgrades my monster by 2 levels. Now I play broken bones. This spell allows all level 3 or lower monsters on the field to attack you directly and deal you 500 attack points each.

Stephen- This is going to be rough.

the magical warrior attacked Stephen directly.

Stephen-you always seem to out-smart me in this duel Sidney.

Sidney- I aim to please. I play 1 facedown.

Stephen- Guess what I do as well. Draw, I summon advanced hero- fire striker 1400-1000. Now I play de-fusion, this brings the fusion materials for lightning knight to the field and lightning knight goes to the grave. come advanced hero- lightning boy 1800/1600, and advanced hero ground shaker 800/2200.

Sidney- What do they do for you?

Stephen- glad you asked, I play advanced armer this raises all advance hero that are on the field attack points by 300.

advanced hero- lightning boy 2100/1600.

advanced hero- fire striker 1700/1000.

advanced hero ground shaker 1100/2200.

now I play fusion sage this lets me add one polymerization from my deck to hand.

he scans his deck for a polymerization then he finds one.

Sidney- what are you planing Stephen?

Stephen- I plan on winning the duel this turn. Now I lay down polymerization. I fuse advanced hero- lightning boy, advanced hero- fire striker, and advanced hero ground shaker. To bring out advanced hero weapon master 2700/600

Sidney- you continue to amaze me Stephen.

Stephen- well here I go weapon master attack directly.

Sidney- WHAT!!!!! is this like a special ability.

Stephen- when I give up half my life point he can attack you directly. Now go weapon master attack her.

Stephen- 350

Sidney- Well you won you get dark magician girl and 1 locater card.

Stephen- sorry you're out of the tournament.

Sidney-Out of the tournament!! Stevie I have 3 locater cards left.

Stephen- whoa!! well sorry about that. I guess I'll see ya around.

Sidney- yeah bye.
