While that monster is equipped with this card it cannot be Tributed or used as a XYZ material, and it's effect becomes "During each of your Standby Phases: Lose 1000 Life Points."

I can't think of any Deck that would main this, since it's still bad against synchros if you're trying to stall, and generally is hard to take advantage of for the user.

As side-tech card in some specific stall Deck? Maybe, but I doubt it. It's not quite a win condition and doesn't do enough to stop your opponent breaking through your stall.

I can see quite a few uses. Pair it with Creature Swap, or use it on a low Atk monster that can't beat your wall, etc.

The thing with creature swap is you're using 3 of your cards (this, creature swap, your creature) and none of theirs to get a dude out. Why not wait for them to Summon their next big thing, using their resources and none of yours, then swap? Summoning a low ATK dude will almost never help, since few Decks leave all their monsters in defense position so they'll either use the monster for something this card doesn't prevent or just suicide it against an attack position monster for minor damage.

I really fail to see why a Deck would run this. If I wanted burn, I'd run Wave Motion Cannon, Meteor Flare, Just Desserts, maybe Stealth Bird, ect, before this. I think this even fails to resolve if chained to by MST due to being an Equip. I could also run something like Lava Golem that actually eats at their guys on the fields, being possibly the hardest-to-avoid removal card in the game, and still get that burn.
