suzakuash
Monster Bringer Light Spellcaster Level 2 0/2000 You can Tribute this card; Special Summon from your hand, 1 monster with 2500 or less ATK and 3000 or less DEF, ignoring its Summoning conditions, and if you do, its effects are negated while it is on the field and after it leaves the field, also immediately draw 1 card when it leaves the field. =================================================================================================
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Tribute Summon 1 monster from your hand with 2500 or less ATK using only this face-up card as a Tribute or as 2 Tributes. If you do, that monster's effects are negated and immediately draw 1 card when it leaves the field. During your Main Phase: You can return this face-up card from the field to the hand. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Tribute Summon 1 monster from your hand with 2500 or less ATK and 3000 or less DEF, ignoring its Summoning conditions, using only this face-up card as a Tribute or as 2 Tributes, and if you do, that monster's effects are negated while it is on the field and after it leaves the field, also immediately draw 1 card when it leaves the field. During your Main Phase: You can return this face-up card from the field to the hand.
This card will turn any monster with 2500 or less ATK and 3000 or less DEF into a floater.. Also, it will work beautifully in a Deck with a dozen of monsters that can't be summoned easily from your hand and becomes dead cards.. With this card, you can Summoned Shapesnatch or Hungry Burger easily without going minusing.. :D Your thoughts?
Sir Yamiegg
Hmn. I would make that 1st effect optional because it could result in some nasty stuff - your opponent has the right to check your hand for Summonable monsters (or ask a judge) if that effect's mandatory. I would make it able to ignore the Summoning Conditions of the monster, since those nomis can really clog if you're playing a weird deck like that (LV.dek? Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon? Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon?). I can't see anything broken happening with that. It would just give some of those long-forgotten cards a little utility, y'know? Black Temple Gaurdian
I run a nearly all Normal monster deck, Pendulums are the answer, especially their float-on-death feature. Even for tributes, Pendulum them. Although the +1 is nice, especially for cards with special summon-able alternate forms (Red-Eyes Darkness, Amulet Dragon, Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight). Eh, isn't the first effect already optional?? "When this card is Normal Summoned, you can: Immediately.." Also, it's share the similar clause to Yosenju monsters, so the rules are same.. Ah, that's a nice idea.. Dozen of Ritual Monsters will love it.. :D I run a nearly all Normal monster deck, Pendulums are the answer, especially their float-on-death feature. Honestly, I'm forgot about Pendulum Summon when creating this card.. :D Well, Sir Yamiegg's suggestion will give this card more advantage than Pendulum then.. =========================================================================================================================== Update: - Give the "ignoring its Summoning conditions" clause.. - Adding the restriction, "and 3000 or less DEF".. (Summoning any wall monster with 3500++ DEF like Benkei or Exxod with only 1 card is kinda unbalance I think, or it's unnecessary??) - The monster's effects will be also negated when it leaves the field to minimize any uncontrollable +1.. Edit: I'm realize that if this card's effect is changed into Special summon instead of Tribute Summon, this card's text will be more simpler.. How is it??
