Premier Alexander Romanov
Gathering Void (OCG: Collecting Purgatory) Spell/Normal Send up to 2 "Infernoid" monsters whose total Level(s) are 8 or less from your Deck to the Graveyard. During your Main Phase 2: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Infernoid" from your Deck to your hand, but you cannot Special Summon it until your next Main Phase 1. When this Set card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 banished "Infernoid" monster; place it in your Graveyard. You can only use 1 "Gathering Void" effect per turn, and only once that turn. During the turn you activate any of this card's effects, you cannot Normal Summon (but you can Set), and you cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Infernoid" monsters. It has a trio of effects that are useful for the Infernoids, no matter what stage of the Duel it is. Discuss.
Neutrality Man
Gathering Void (OCG: Collecting Purgatory) Spell/Normal Send up to 2 "Infernoid" monsters whose total Level(s) are 8 or less from your Deck to the Graveyard. Reasoning outclasses in every way. During your Main Phase 2: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Infernoid" from your Deck to your hand, but you cannot Special Summon it until your next Main Phase 1. This isn't "Summon Boss direct from Deck", and gives the opponent a chance to set up a counter. Fair. When this Set card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 banished "Infernoid" monster; place it in your Graveyard. Burial from the Different Dimension is 3 of these on a Quick-Play. You can only use 1 "Gathering Void" effect per turn, and only once that turn. Good, all three in one turn would be ludicrous. During the turn you activate any of this card's effects, you cannot Normal Summon (but you can Set), and you cannot Special Summon any monsters, except "Infernoid" monsters. "You can't Summon, except by Summoning"

Reasoning outclasses in every way. Except you can use this without needing to have non Infernoids in your deck, making pure builds more viable. During your Main Phase 2: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; add 1 "Infernoid" from your Deck to your hand, but you cannot Special Summon it until your next Main Phase 1. "You can't Summon, except by Summoning" I agree with everything you said, except that, this last line can be very bad for you if you're running this in a non-pure build that occasionally has to normal summon, which is actually a really good idea. I love that this supports pure builds without going to the point that it literally cannot be used in a non-pure build, but it does hinder non-pure builds. wait a sec... When this Set card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: I thought you couldn't set normal spells....
