Gabe014
This monday I was bored and started to design some archetypes. After two failed attempts, I gave up and went to the web to find some inspiration. I ended up at a gallery by Sword Summoner (artwork credits, btw), and I saw a list of pictures of Puppets and... Poof, here we go.[spoiler Main Deck Monsters]All monsters are Light, Level 4 and Fiend-type.Puppet of Sin - Elros.ATK: 1900 | DEF: 1000If this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Puppet of Sin" monster from your hand, but you cannot Special Summon other monsters for the rest of this turn, except for monsters from your Extra Deck. If this card is Summoned: You can target 1 Set Spell/Trap card your opponent controls, return that target to their hand.Puppet of Sin - LivATK: 1800 | DEF: 1100If this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Puppet of Sin" monster from your hand, but you cannot Special Summon other monsters for the rest of this turn, except for monsters from your Extra Deck. Lumin567
This seems a bit crazy. Elros- A decently designed card. Can really shut down comeback tactics though. Liv- This is literally almost the same thing as Elros, but affecting face ups. Worse than it, fairly balanced. Things get op after this. Millie- Bouncing and a free Xyz is really, really strong. Incredibly annoying to play. Eve- What is this? 2000 attack with swarming and no drawback is just silly. Leo has the same attack but kills himself at the end of the turn and is in an archetype with few good cards. And then you give it spell recursion which is generally a no no and is on a high attack swarming body. Really broken. Juno- Not aquatinted with the in depth rules of the game, so look at it like this. If you resolve the effects in order, this is a high attack beatsick that fuels your plays and is powerful. If this card can resolve the effects in any order it's unfunilly broken. The fact that this fetches the hideously broken eve to fetch fun stuff like rakegi pushes it over the edge. Rowan- A card that fetches traps. What the heck. Juno ressurects this letting you mirror force over and over. Huh? Lead- this is just silly. Great stats, can bounce at no cost, has a great recursion ability, protects other puppets and is splashable and rank 4 on top. This needs to be nerfed big time. (Misread, but still to good. Basically same comments as below, just ignore where I say you need to take out bouncing or recursion. Edit out.) Theater- Boosts Juno and lead big time, turns Millie into a monster, but actually not that bad of a designed card. Interval- Actually underpowered, doesn't really help the deck. You need to nerf Juno and Eves stats, and replace the spell trap recursion with something less unhealthy. Lead needs to be nerfed big time, take out recursion, make bouncing cost material, lower the attack and maybe make him puppets exclusive and he will be fine. You could also keep the recursion and drop the bouncing if you want, but one needs to go. This archetype could actually be quite balanced if you just dealt with lead Rowan eve and Juno Just my ten cents.
OmgAWhiteGuy
I feel like all of these cards miss timing if you choose to SS one from hand. But if they don't: The monsters should only be able to SS one from hand after a Normal Summon it will help stop the OTK speed of the deck. Which really needs to be fixed. Juno has way too much ATK points. Also adding "You can only use this effect once per turn and only once this turn" would greatly help this deck. Lead Just needs to go. 2700 ATK + protection for all your monsters is too good.
Nightmare Stomper
God I love you art. It's gorgeous. But your cards are kind of busted :P. Let's be realistic here, lock it to Xyz Summoning. It will make the deck a lot less open-ended and focus it more on making its own boss monsters. Which is good. If this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Puppet of Sin" monster from your hand, but you cannot Special Summon other monsters for the rest of this turn, except for monsters from your Extra Deck. If this card is Summoned: You can target 1 Set Spell/Trap card your opponent controls, return that target to their hand. Which is good. In terms of the S/T, I'd like to say good job, but the trap needs to be better. Much better. Target 1 "Puppet of Sin" monster you control, return that target to your hand, then, if you do, you can add 1 "Puppet of Sin" monster from your Graveyard to your hand. The field spell has only a few whoopsies in it, but it's really powerful. I like it. I see some sneaky trix occurring. All Fiend-type monsters gain 300 ATK and DEF.Once per turn, you can activate one of these effects:ㅤㅤIf a card would be returned from the field to the hand, banish it instead. If it's a Xyz monster, banish its Xyz materials too.ㅤㅤIf a card would be returned from the Graveyard to the hand, you can shuffle it into the deck instead, then, add 1 "Puppet of Sin" monster from your deck to your hand. Lead needs to go to 2500 ATK and require material detach for its bounce. Also it must lose its targeting ability. Too OP. In agreement with PP.
