I suggest you try running Shining Angel in the deck. I run two in mine, and I've found it to be good at protecting life points and more importantly, getting Maiden. Rider of the Stormwinds is a decent card for the deck since it can be used as a tuner, REDMD fodder, or as a way to give your Blue-Eyes or other normal dragons piercing damage. And since we're talking about tuners, I recommend you drop the White Stones of Legend. I know people use it for Cards of Consonance and to get Blue-Eyes in hand for Trade-In, but I personally have never found much use for it and consider it a waste of space. On that note, Cards of Consonance should go too, and Trade-In ran at 2.

Try using Alexandrite Dragon. It's a normal, level 4, 2000 attack beater that can be brought back with Silver's Cry or Azure-Eyes, after which it can be used to synch for 5 or to deal more battle damage. One more Bright Star Dragon could be good, but two seems alright as well.

Swap out the Parsecs for Darkstorm Dragons. It's a Gemini monster and treated as a normal monster in the grave, meaning it's another target for Azure-Eyes and Silver's Cry. When you normal summon it to give it its effect, you can send a face-up spell/trap you control to wipe everyone's back row, which is a pretty nice effect in my opinion. You... obviously aren't running very many cards that'll stay face up on the field for this though, but we'll get to that soon.

Why not run Dragon Rulers Blaster and Tidal? These can help you synch for level 8 monsters.

3 Dragon Shrines work well with the deck, much better than Foolish Burial. They'll let you throw up to two dragons in the graveyard provided the first one you send is a normal monster, but that's the point. Throw something like Blue-Eyes in there and then a Dragon Ruler, and you'll have two future special summons set up. You can also use this to give fuel for the Dragon Rulers.

Run Full-Force Strike! It combos great with Maiden, triggering her effect and making her a means of monster removal. Then you can go for Azure-Eyes.

Call of the Haunted works well with the deck, and if you use it to bring back a tuner to perform a synchro summon, it'll stay on the field and be a target for Darkstorm Dragon's effect (and also Scrap Dragon, a level 8 synchro). Staples such as Compulsory Evacuation Device, Solemn Warning, and even Bottomless Trap Hole are a good idea to run. Tech in one Castle of Dragon Souls too. It's another way you can trigger Maiden's effect and can also boost your other monsters' attack to swing over things. When it's sent to the grave, you can special summon one of your banished dragons (which you'll have a bit of due to the Dragon Rulers and this trap card itself).

Extra Deck suggestions are:

Hot Red Dragon Archfiend
Stardust Dragon/Stardust Spark Dragon
Scrap Dragon
Crimson Blade
Dark Strike Fighter
Clear Wing Synchro Dragon
Thunder End Dragon
Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon
Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon
Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Dragon
Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon (this card is INSANE)

Thanks for the replies everyone, and Krein, you have many good points. But the only reason I don't run Full armor dragon or dark matter is because they aren't available yet in tcg. Hoping they become available in Premium Gold 2 so I can try a Dragon Ruler variant. Any deck list ideas for that? I have no idea how Dragon Rulers work now that Return is gone.

Sure, I'll probably be posting my own Blue-Eyes deck up for review sooner or later, but until then I'll still try to help out. Dragon Rulers do burn through a lot of resources due to their banishing cost, but in this deck you'll usually only bring them out for level 8 synchro summons or to establish your field for game. That's why I only run two in my deck, and whenever I send them off to the grave with Dragon Shrine I typically do so with monsters I probably won't have much use for later, such as Rider of the Storm Winds or Alexandrite Dragon, that way the cost isn't too much of a big deal for me.

To replenish or make use of your banished dragons, you can try Burial From a Different Dimension, DDR- Different Dimension Reincarnation, or the already mentioned Castle of Dragon Souls.
