When this card is Pendulum Summoned, if you control no other monsters: You can target 2 cards in your Pendulum Zone; Special Summon those targets, but they are destroyed during the End Phase. After this effect is activated, you cannot Special Summon other monsters for the rest of the turn. If a this card or a Pendulum Monster you control destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Banish that monster instead of sending it to the Graveyard. RedEmissaryofDarkness Posted March 6, 2015 Report Share Posted March 6, 2015 This seems incredibly Underpowered, for 1, with those conditions, it would seem as though I would have to use my whole Pendulum Summon on just this card to use its effect. That, and because it is a Level 7, there are really not that many decks at all that can capitalize from it besides the Odd-Eyes Magicians, and I know they won't benefit from it. Even if something like Qlis could run it, this could lead to an OTK, but since people are more likely to have a Scout and Monolith/Trampolynx, they likely wouldn't run it either. The No SS clause makes things worse because the rather weak Pendulum monsters I actually can bring out won't even make good Jet Synchron/Glow-Up fodder for a strange Quasar from Phonon or something like that. As for the last effect, well people already have Dark Law as a better alternative because it doesn't require battle and thanks to AHL ad Mask Change Second, he is Incredibly easy to summon. Overall, It is a rather underpowered card that could benefit more from actually having other monsters like Odd-Eyes to work off of, or at least giving another option to SS more that turn. Otherwise, I do not know why I would just not run Mask Change Second over this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Since this is so niche anyway, the no-SS clause could be done away with too. It has the ATK it has because of The Dominion of the Legendary Monarch, and the no SS to prevent OTKs from happening.
