Lotus Cobra, because when was the last time Dark Worlds got love?

When this card is flipped face-up, you can target 1 face-up monster on the field; that monster's effect becomes "When this card is sent to the Graveyard: your opponent discards 1 card." During the End Phase: destroy that monster. (Thank you Sir Yamiegg!)

 

This card is versatile. If you manage to flip it in your turn, it can target itself and then proc the effect when used to Synchro or as a Tribute.

 

If your opponent flips it, you can get rid of one of their monsters as it doesn't target (so it goes over Clear Wing and stuff like that) and then you can set-up your Grave for effects.

 

If you are running Dark Worlds and use the effect on an opponent's monster, you can proc the "if this card was discarded from your hand to your Graveyard by an opponent's card effect" part of their effects. 

 

Anyways, considering this card is relatively slow, I'd say it's quite balanced. Still, I'd love some criticism on it. Also, I'm pretty damn sure the OCG is wrong.

I'm not sure changes like this survive the transition to the Graveyard. Won't it reset on the way there? If not, it's potentially very powerful in not just Dark World's but Shaddolls and BA.

It's very nice deign and I appreciate that, but imo it's too slow to be used in DW/especially Fabled. Nice removal and effect negator though.

I was afraid that, although slow, negating an effect AND setting up your grave might be too strong.
