Witchblade

[ Spell / Equip ]

A monster equipped with this card gains ATK equal to half of its DEF.  Once per turn:  You can increase the DEF of a monster equipped with this card by 200 and place 1 Witchcraft counter on this card.    When a monster you control is destroyed:  You can send this card to the Graveyard; Send cards from the field to top of the Deck up to the number of Witchcraft counters on this card at the time it was sent to the Graveyard.  If a Spellcaster-type monster would be returned to the top of your Deck this way, you can Special Summon instead, and equip it with this card from the Graveyard.  You can only activate this effect of "Witchblade" once per turn.

Witchbane

[ Spell / Quickplay ]

Activate only if a card(s) would be returned or sent to any Deck.  Banish those cards instead.  If a Warrior-type monster would be banished by this effect, you can Special Summon it to your side of the field instead.

Witchblade: Where it reads: "When a monster you control is destroyed: You can send this card to the Graveyard; Send cards", you wouldn't be able to send it to the Graveyard b/c Witchblade was also sent to the Graveyard when the monster was destroyed. Unless there's something I don't know(?), that's how I imagine it. Also, switch the word "send" to "place" or "return", my reasoning would be a reference to pwwb and Raiza. I don't know why the wording must be "place" or "return", most cards (if not all) that would put a card on top of the deck has "place" or "return" in their text to my knowledge. Other than that, it's a neat way using your card over again like Fiendish Chain with the downside of not advancing your deck. The last effect is fine, a recycling ability.

Witchbane: I think it would be better if it were a continuous trap card, that way your opponent may want to waste a mst on it so their cards won't get banished, and it stays on the field which can get cloggy, but you can Magic Planter it. Cards like Raiza and pwwb become a banish 1 card your opponent controls, which is pretty nice. Evidently good if you're running warriors or against warriors.

A thousand apologies if this review/feedback was not helpful.
