Oh my, it's the only shonen manga I actually like. Gotta comment on these.

  1. Recursive trading cards! Who'd have thunk.
  2. Liking the theming and mechanic. Simple, but characteristic, and somewhat interesting. That said, you're gonna need a lot of spare change to play a deck full of these.
  3. Yue is probably broken. I don't keep up with the metagame, so I couldn't tell you for sure, but she seems insanely powerful. I feel like she's an OTK waiting to happen, especially if you Summon her with Pactio: even one Yue can multiply a single Spell Card into four. Use her on, say, any Limited Spell or Trap Card and things will go downhill quickly. Also, mind the punctuation on her. The way it's worded, it's confusing whether it's "Once per turn, during either player's turn," or "once," period, during either player's turn - the latter of which wouldn't really make sense since she can get multiple effect's worth of Pactio counters, but whatever.
  4. Actually, the rulings on Yue are a bit obscure. Could she replicate, say, Call of the Haunted? what about Mirror Force? Counter Trap Cards? And what exactly is the timing on her effect, anyway?
  5. Summon Negi with PACTIO!, use him to search another PACTIO!, Summon someone else with that, and then you can Special Summon 2 empowered monsters per turn. That's a pretty boss combo. I can't really assess the usefulness of it, or whether it's broken or not, since I don't keep up with the metagame, but it certainly seems a very frightening mechanic, even after Yue inevitably gets banned.
  6. Though I'm not sure why Negi's Pactio Counters are in multiples of 2. Since he'll only ever be able to search 1 or 2 Spell Cards, why not just give him 1 or 2 Pactio Counters and give the poor player a break? Ditto Yue, since she can replicate either 1 or 3 Spell/Trap Card effects.
  7. Natsumi doesn't seem to have anything to do except "not be there." She's very good at not being there, and there's a lot to be said for not being there, but there isn't much else she actually does. I mean, she could theoretically attack, but her ATK sucks, so what's the point of that? (Actually, that's an honest question - what is she there to do? Are there cards I don't know about she can work with, or?)
  8. Asakura, Setsuna, and Fei Ku seem a bit dull to me. Maybe it's because I disdain battle, but. Asakura could be really potent if she, say, revealed cards in her opponent's hadn instead, or could somehow interact with whatever cards she revealed. Not sure what to do with the other ones, since they are fighters. Best I can think of for Setsuna is maybe reflecting a few Shinmeiryuu techniques with optional effects like Haruna and Kaede have, though that could get overly complex quickly. Making battle interesting is tricky indeed. (Now that I think of it, I don't know that I've ever seen it written "Fei Ku" instead of "Ku Fei." :v)
  9. The cards all have fairly low battle stats and levels. This is a Good Thing IMO - it wouldn't make any sense for any of these characters to be very powerful in battle or require sacrifices to summon. However, it's hard to get the most out of their effects without protecting them for several turns. This may actually also be a Good Thing, providing a drawback to keep them from being broken and requiring support to keep them on the field. I don't know enough about game balance to say for sure. :''''u
  10. There don't seem to be any mechanisms for replenishing or manipulating Pactio Counters besides with PACTIO!. Perhaps some support cards could do those things?

On the whole a pleasantly non-disappointing take on Negima!. I like that there's an actual mechanic and synergy in play here, and that it actually reflects the characters and their Pactio abiities properly (and that Negi, by searching Pactio!, ends up being the centerpiece of the set).

Thank for feedback Supreme Gamesmaster. And my answer to some off your points:

 

1. The effect of Yue is planed to be Activated 1 time per turn. There are other card with Same kinda effects.

2. Last time i check, Call of Haunted is Continuous Trap card (not Normal Trap card), so Yue cannot activated it.

3. Natsumi.......Well...... She cannot be Targeted by card effect, but she is effected by Field Spells and Mirror Force (or any field desroyer card).

4. Asakura Was planed this way because This way you can check your opponent's set monsters and Spell/Trap cards. I my mind: that is more useful effect.

 

Other than these, i agreed with you. Oh! and reloading ''Pactio Counters'' ? Great plan , but it takes time to think a way to do that, with out being Broken. Trying to do more support cards in future.

1) Still kinda broken IMO? I mean, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree here, but she can, for example, turn into three copies of Mirror Force, or One Day of Peace, or Raigeki, or Gold Sarcophagus, or... And with Negi's help, she can instantly get access to any Spell Card she'd like since he can just search it. (Getting a Negi is pretty trivial, since I'm pretty sure the basic strategy for this deck would be to set up a PACTIO! loop with Negi. Heck, you could actually use that to get two or three Yues, who can each replicate one Spell/Trap Card per turn, in a trivially small amount of time...)

2) Hrmmm. Normals only. Okay. That still actually raises a problem, since I think the way it's worded she can basically turn Normal Spell Cards into Quick-Play Spell Cards. And I'm still not really clear about the timing - what can she chain with? I believe she has a decent speed, but it's been ages since I saw the rulings on "Once per turn, during either player's turn." And I repeat -
