Neutrality Man
Couldn't sleep. Card ideas breaking my brain. Enjoy the product of my insomnia~ Quick-Play Spell When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack with an ATK higher than your current LP: Special Summon one Warrior-type monster with ATK equal to or less than the attacking monster's ATK from your hand or Deck, ignoring any Summoning conditions. Then, end the Battle Phase. During your next End Phase: banish the monster Special Summoned by this effect.
TheincerdibleTim
Why is it a speel? My opponent can not attack my directly during my turn. But i think it is a great card for all kind of decks, if you remove the end the battle phase effect. It would be kinda op in Satellaknights or Heroes i think

But i think it is a great card for all kind of decks, if you remove the end the battle phase effect. It would be kinda op in Satellaknights or Heroes i think Quick-Play Spell. It can be activated on the opponent's turn, and Q-P Spells are much harder to stop than a trap. If it didn't End the Battle Phase, it would be entirely pointless, as your opponent would just run the monster you Summon over and kill you anyway. This card is "A warrior jumps onto the battlefield and parries a lethal blow." If you've ever seen an anime where that happens, all the fighting stops dead to identify what the fuck just happened. That pause is the ending of the Battle Phase.
DuelSpectre
It's an interesting card, and has quite a potent effect, but it seems that its restriction is a little too limiting, making it nothing but a niche card rather than a card people will actually think of running. Maybe make it more versatile by allowing it to be activated without the "ATK more than your LP" clause, and removing the "ignoring summoning conditions" clause. Making the summoned monster's effect negated can replace the "direct attack with ATK more than your LP" clause. I know these are radical ideas that stray from the original intention of your card, but hopefully you found some suggestions that are helpful.
