ems97
Infernoid Undecimus Level: 11 Attribute Fire [ Fiend / Effect ] Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand or Graveyard) by banishing 3 "Infernoid" monsters with different names from your hand or Graveyard while the total Levels and Ranks of all Effect Monsters you control are 8 or lower, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Special Summoned: Negate all other face-up cards currently on the field except "Infernoid" monsters and "Void" cards. The original ATK/DEF of this card becomes 500 x the number of "Infernoid" monsters currently banished. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated: You can Tribute 1 monster; negate the activation, and if you do, banish that card. When this card leaves the field: You can send up to 3 "Infernoid" monsters with different names from your Deck to the Graveyard. ATK: ? DEF: ? RedEmissaryofDarkness
On a mythological standpoint, I fail to see the demon that this one would represent. I figured that Undecimus is 11 like how Onuncu is 10, and how Lillith would likely be named Dokuzuncu in the TCG, but Infernoids have a connection to their demon mythos counterpart, and i fail to find the connection. Undecimus wouldn't even be the best name for it following Onuncu since it does not have a Turkish number to it but rather a Latin number. Then again I guess On Biruncu wouldn't sound too good, and Dekatron's naming is an anomaly in itself in the deck. As for the card itself, It has a strange fit considering the level 11 we have now is Tierra and Onuncu and Lillith act as brother and sister cards and have the same functions, just in different orders. I will say this though...I do find it rather good, especially against Red-Eyes if they have their Flare Metal Dragon out. I can see its uses being really useful in an Infernoid deck, especially since it makes OTKs way too easy with this guy Banishing for days. The removed from field effect is a nice touch too. Now is it too OP? Not really. Sure it Negates card effects, but BA and Shaddolls still get all their effects in the grave, and the negation effect only applies to those on the field, so you can set a Shaddoll Dragon and cause problems. It's counterable, and it has it's uses, so I would say it would fit right in if it wasn't for some naming and mythos confusion with the archetype.
