Core Link Archetype

Core Links are an Archetype that converts your opponents cards into "Core Tokens" (which will later be changed to Trap Monsters named "Core Tokens") that are special summoned onto your side of the field and will be used for XYZ swarming. I will reveal most the main monster cards and some of the XYZ monsters. (Some XYZ's are under development, one card I would specifically love thoughts on is the XYZ of Core Link Iku which I feel is to strong but showed for feedback)

[spoiler='Show Effect']When this card is Summoned, you may return it to the hand to Special Summon a “Core Link,” monster from your Deck. If the card “Core Link Princess” or “Core Link Ace,” is face-up on the field when this card is Summoned, in addition to this cards previous effect, you may select Spells/Traps your opponent(s) control up to the number of face-up “Core Link,” monsters you currently control, and turn them into a Core Token [Level4][Warrior][100/100] that is Special Summoned onto your side of the field. This effect takes place before “Core Link Iku,” first effect. The effect(s) of “Core Link Iku,” can only be activated once per turn.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Show Effect']When this card is Summoned, you may add one “Core,” card from your Deck to your hand. If you control another face-up “Core Link,” monster when this card is Summoned, in addition to this cards previous effect, you may turn 1 random card in your opponent’s hand into a Core Token [Level4][Warrior][100/100] that is Special Summoned onto your side of the field.

[spoiler='Show Effect']If you control two or more, “Core Link,” monsters or Core Tokens, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Summoned, you may Special Summon a “Core Link,” monster from your Graveyard. If the card, “Core Link Kenshin” is face-up on the field when this card is Summoned, in addition to this cards previous effect, you may target up to two removed from play cards in your opponent's Banish zone and apply the appropriate effect: Turn it into a Core Token [Level4][Warrior][100/100] that is Special Summoned onto your side of the field
This cards level becomes its original level plus the number of Core Token’s on the field.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Show Effect']You may discard one card to Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Summoned this way, reduce its ATK to 0. If you control either a “Core Link Yuuto,” “Core Link Yui,” or “Core Link Ritsu,” when this card is Summoned, you may swap control of this card with a monster your opponent controls, change its ATK to 0 its name into “Core Link” and its level to 4.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Show Effect']You may Special Summon this card (from the Graveyard) if you control a face-up Core Link Yui. When this card is Summoned, you may reveal a number of Core cards in your hand up to the number of Core Tokens you control. Shuffle cards in your hand into the Deck up to the amount of Core cards revealed this way, and for each card, place any Core card from your Deck at the top in any order you choose. If the card Core Link Yui is face-up on the field when this card is Summoned, in addition to this cards previous effect, your opponent selects one card in their Extra Deck and turns it into a Core Token [Level4][Warrior][100/100] that is Special Summoned onto your side of the field. [PLEASE PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON THE CARD, CORE LINK OF OBSERVATION ACE]

5H5T6z4.jpg
[spoiler='Show Effect']
[PREVIOUS EFFECT]
3 Level 8 monsters
You can XYZ Summon this card using a “Core Link Ace.” This type of XYZ Summon can only be used once per duel. As long as this card is face-up on the field, your opponent(s) must play with their hands revealed at all times. As long as another “Core Link” monster or Core Token is face-up on the field, this card can not be targeted or destroyed by card effects. Once per turn, you can detach 1 XYZ material from this card to halve the life points of your opponent(s). If this card was to leave YOUR side of the field, destroy all cards the person who summoned this monster controls.

I have successfully added show boxes, thanks for the advice FinnDragon <3

Nice. Two Questions:

1: Does ''Core Link Ace'' have some Support plan? I Mean it have powerful effect, but it is Level 8 monster With 0 ATK/DEF.

2: ''Core Link of Purification, Iku'' is Rank 5 monster. It's Spell/Trap return effect activates ONLY if ''Core Tokens'' are used to Xyz Summon it. But (so far as i can read) all ''Core Tokens'' are level 4.

Yes, actually, for both those cards lie plans waiting to bloom.

The XYZ version of Ace can be XYZ summoned using Core Link Ace alone, however he is currently under development because of his effect currently being to powerful. Although this version of XYZ summoning can only be done once per duel. The reason the XYZ Ace is seemingly overpowered is because his capability of OTK'ing someone especially with how easy it is for him to be Summoned. However, if you'd like to see the card as it currently is, I will show you.

Your second question, there will be a support card to this Deck that enables you to turn all Core Link monsters or tokens you currently control into levels 3, 4 or 5 until the End Phase. In addition, there is an idea of making a trap card that takes all Core tokens currently being used as an XYZ material or face-up on the field, and using them all to XYZ summon a Core Link XYZ monster of your choice using those Tokens. However, that idea is being debated right now and if it was made, I would believe it'd be most reasonable to create a huge cost for it.

Any other thoughts or questions, FinnDragon?

Also, I would like to know your opinion on this idea as an extra effect for Ritsu and Princess

Maybe not only are their levels equal to their original level plus the number of tokens on the field, but maybe they can be considered Core Tokens as well if their levels exceed 4?

You know, I would love to see a structure deck and booster pack made out of this archetype! Otherwise, good job on the archetype!

I'm glad to hear that :) and thank you. <3
Later I might post Archetypes entitled "Eradicator" and an archetype entitled "Black and White" if you are interested in either. It will occur after all cards of this Archetype has been posted.

Core Link of Loneliness, Princess
Core Link of Happiness, Kenshin Fujimoto
Core Link of Humiliation, Yaku Miyashiro

Have all been added to the list at 4:41PM, 4/3/15.

Soon to come are support spell/trap cards for the Deck and if you are interested in Fusion cards, a few will come out for this archetype as well, the story of these cards actually play a part on the Fusions. Therefore, you can build this deck by swarming XYZ's or focus it on boss monster Fusions that are based off couples formed between the cards in their storyline.

EDIT: Core Link of Observation, Ace has been posted at 5:58 PM 4/3/15

Read ''Core Link of Observation, Ace'' Effect. Remembers ''Core Link Ace''. Now level 8 Monster with 0 ATK/DEF makes sense. Fusions are always interesting. I think this Archetype could need/use it's own Fusion Card (like ''Elemental HERO'' have ''Miracle Fusion'' or like Dragon-Types have ''Dragon's Mirror'')

The Fusion in development is called "The True Ambassador, Core Link of Amnesia, Emiko"
The requirements it needs are 2 or more "Core Link" XYZ Monsters whose Ranks exceed 8 and the Fusion Spell Card of the Core Links.
It is currently in development because of how strong it is, I need to make adjustments.

The other two Fusions I have in mind, need more work as to not make it so the Deck has to be based off of them in particular for them to have a true meaning in the Extra Deck.
