Legalization for the yes. This guy in the bathroom at school today caught me graffitiing the wall (I was writing 'End war before war ends us') and was like "awww ah'm snitchin''' and i was like "nah bro" and he was like "yo, ah won't snitch if you write 'Mary Jane will end wars'" and I was like 'okay, bro'. Government starts selling Marijuana, but in a controlled way. It would be more pure, and in turn, more healthy. Not that Marijuana could ever be healthy, but you get my point. They dont lose complete control of their logical thinking abilities and drive in the car and kill someone. If someone drinks a lot of alchohol, it can make them get mad and go kill people. They do lose complete control of logical thinking abilities, and some of them do go kill people in car accidents. Yet alchohol is legal and marijuana is illegal. Yeah, marijuana might be unhealthy, but it's not nearly as unhealthy as cigarettes. If you look up, "Man dies from marijuana" on google, you will most likely find no results. If you look up, "Man dies from smoking cigarettes", you will find loads of articles. Here is a simple fact. I've never heard of people over doseing with marijuana. However you can drink too much water... As someone before me has stated, Marijuana is illegal because the government can't tax it. What the government should do is grow their own crops and make it illegal to grow marijuana without some type of license. You could then box up what you grew and sell it to maybe a store or business of some type. They could then take the marijuana and actually make like a load of joints and sell them in stores. And they would be able to make little after school specials about why you shouldn't buy marijuana, just like they do about smoking cigarettes. I think the main problem with drugs is that you feel so good, and think, "Gee, I bet I'll feel better if I double the dosage!" And that kills you. You may say you have enough self will, but trust me, drugs change that. Kaitou Kid, quit being a fool, if you're smoking joints/bong hits of marijuana, you will die of CO2 poisoning before the THC kills you. Death from THC, the drug that makes people smoke Weed, is unheard of, lest someone were to pop THC tablets to suicide (which is still highly unlikely, because its hard enough to get THC tablets). Alcohol is F*CKING POISON. The reason it is legal is because of 1, the increased crime rate that occured during the era of Prohibition, and 2, its hard enough to make that no one will make it, and they can sell it, and make billions off of it. I heard from someone that over 100 million different Americans are drunk during any given week. Pot doesn't make you angry, if smoked through a breathilizer (something like that), the smoke is cleaned, and it doesn't pollute your lungs, and is much more potent than alcohol, so you have to take less of it into your brain to get the desired effect. Plus, hangovers suck, if you're the kind of person who gets them. 2. To the other kid whom Willie called out. Marijuana is not nearly as toxic as cigarettes or alcohol. Don't believe that school bulls*** lulz, its not nearly as bad as the government makes it out to be. Trust me on this one, when you are a teen, you will try it out of curiosity, and you will PROBABLY like it. (I didn't, but I'm weird, so thats ok) All I'm saying, I wouldn't try cigarettes even if you had a knife at my throat. Sh*t's addictive and poisonous. The government spends millions(possibly billions, I'm not sure though) fighting an ineffective drug war. If the government were to regulate what was in Marijuana then they could control what is in it. They can also tax Marijuana to make a profit. Many other countries have legalized Marijuana(i.e. Amsterdam) and they aren't destroying themselves. Not only will crime rate go down because of it being legal but violence will also decrease because gangs will not have as much control if people can get it from the government. Just my two cents.
