[Archetype] Meganism - teaser

Hello YCM community and fellow Yu-Gi-Oh! players. Me and fellow players have been working on this archetype for a while now and we thought it could be a good idea to get some feedback. We are currently looking for artists to design original art for the cards. As of now, I used artwork that I mostly found from the Final Fantasy franchise and made slight edits in Photoshop. I am no designer or professional in Photoshop in mind, so take the artworks with a grain of salt.
We are also competetive Yu-Gi-Oh! players with regional wins.
 
As for the archetype, I've playtested it against most meta decks and changed around to make it work without being literally broken. As of now, the archetype shows top tier potential and is fit for competitive play.
 
Short about the Meganism Meganism is a combination of the words Mega and Mechanism. The Meganism consists of DARK and LIGHT monsters (the Tuner effect monsters being LIGHT and the non-Tuner being DARK). They utilze banishing other Meganism monsters and destroying their Meganism Core Spell/Trap cards to gain additional effects. The Meganism archetype is mainly based around a spiritual species that are the representative guardains of the universe. The main 7 monsters are based on the 7 sins and are "summoned" creatures that were either summoned or exiled by these guardians, as some guardians seek power and other's seek peace. So far the one revealed guardian is Vile, the Meganism of Sins who represents the search for power, victory and revenge. The one representing peace, purity and justice(Illistar, the Meganism of Sanctitywill be revealed soon... 

 

The playstyle of the deck revolves around banishing, Synchroing, Xyzing and controling both the game and one's own Graveyard, field, hand and cards that are banished. Highly reliable on being able to search, banishing and Special Summoning. When correctly pulled off, is capable of swarming the field and achieving devastating combos. Although a slight disturbance towards the Meganisms play style can cripple and leave the player struggling to get back into the game. Thus, floodgate cards like Mistake, Vanity's Emptiness and Imperial Iron Wall can completly shut down the Archetype.

Effect:
This card cannot be Set. Banish this card during the End Phase of the next player's turn after this card was Summoned. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Meganism Avaritia" per turn and only once that turn.
● During either player's turn, if this card is in your hand or Graveyard: You can target 1 "Meganism" monster you control; return it to your hand and Special Summon this card in face-up Defense Position. This card cannot be destroyed by battle during the turn this card is Special Summoned this way.
● Discard this card; banish 1 "Meganism" monster from your hand or Graveyard, then add 1 "Meganism" Spell/Trap card from your Deck to your hand.

Effect:
This card cannot be Set. Banish this card during the End Phase of the next player's turn after this card was Summoned. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Meganism Acedia" effect per turn and only once that turn.
● Banish 1 "Meganism" monster from your Graveyard, then you can destroy 1 face-up Spell/Trap card you control.
● If this card is banished: You can Special Summon 1 "Meganism" monster from your Deck or Graveyard.

Effect:
This card cannot be Set. Banish this card during the End Phase of the next player's turn after this card was Summoned. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Meganism Superbia" per turn, and only once that turn.
● You can select 1 card you control and 1 card your opponent controls. Banish one of them, then destroy the other card. This card cannot declare an attack during the turn you activate this effect.
● If this card is banished from your hand, Graveyard or field: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon this card.

Effect:
2 Level 7 DARK monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; add 1 "Meganism" monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card with Xyz Material is sent to the Graveyard: You can target cards on the field equal to the number of "Meganism Core" Spell/Trap cards you control; banish those targets. As long as any of the Xyz Materials that were attached to this card is in your Graveyard, neither player can Set cards.

Effect:
Banish 1 "Meganism" monster from your Deck; Special Summon 1 Fairy-Type monster from your hand. You can only activate 1 "Tetra Meganism of Reconstruction" per turn.

Effect:
You can only activate 1 "Meganism Core Duo-Omega" per turn. This card cannot be activated unless you control at least 1 "Meganism" monster. When this card is activated, target 1"Meganism" monster you control: As long as this card remains face-up on the field, it cannot be targeted by Spell/Trap cards other than "Meganism" Spell/Trap cards. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: Add 1 Fairy-Type monster from your Deck to your hand and increase the Levels of all face-up "Meganism" monsters you control equal to the number of "Meganism" monsters in your Graveyard. You can only gain this effect once per turn.

Effect:
You can only activate 1 "Meganism Core Tri-Sigma" per turn. This card cannot be activated unless you control at least 1 "Meganism" monster. When this card is activated, target 1"Meganism" monster you control: As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the selected monster cannot be destroyed by card effects. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 of your banished "Meganism" monsters; return that target to your hand. You can only gain this effect once per turn.
 
Existing cards that work as staples within the archetype are Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, Allure of Darkness and Gold Sarcophagus. 
Have not come around to build a deck with Meganism and another Fairy-type archetype like Agents as of yet, but can prove to be successful!
