Burning-Scrap
The idea of this archtype is to resemble a jack in the box. The opponent (and sometimes the controller as well) doesnt know what is in the boxes until they are revealed. The mechanism is banishing cards face-down and then sending them to the graveyard as a cost for other effects. Eel in the Box (level 4, Water, sea serpent-type, 1400 atk 1000 def) When this card is normal summoned: banish 2 cards from the top of your deck face-down. When this face-down banished card is sent to the graveyard: destroy one spell/trap card the opponent controlls. Dog in the Box (level 4, Earth, beast-type, 1300 atk 1200 def) When this card is summoned: banish the top card of your deck face-down. When this face-down banished card is sent to the graveyard: target one face-down card in your banish zone and special summon it face up. If it is a spell/trap card it is treated as a level 4 normal monster with 0 atk and def. Lizard in the Box (level 4, Earth, reptile-type, 1000 atk 1700 def) When a card is banished face-down: you can special summon this card from your hand. When this face-down banished card is sent to the graveyard: target one "the Box" card in your graveyard and banish it face-down. Then, shuffle the face-down cards in your banish zone (without looking). Bird in the Box (level 4, Wind, winged beast-type, 1500 atk 1100 def) When this card is summoned you can special summon one "the Box" monster from your graveyard. If you do, for the rest of this turn, each time you summon: send one face-down banished card to the graveyard. When this face-down banished card is sent to the graveyard: banish 2 cards from the top of your deck face-down. Corpse in the Box (level 4, Dark, zombie-type, 0 atk 500 def) You can discard this card from your hand to look at 2 cards from the top of your deck, then banish them face-down. When this face-down banished card is sent to the graveyard: destroy one face-down card your opponent controlls. Magician of the Box (rank 4, Light, spellcaster-type, 2450 atk 2000 def) 2 level 4 monsters Once per turn you can detach one xyz material from this card to add one "the Box" spell card from your deck to the hand, then look at up to 2 of your face-down banished cards. If this card would leave the field, it is banished face-down instead. Berserker of the Box (rank 4, Fire, warrior-type, 2300 atk 2200 def) 2 level 4 "the Box" monsters Once per turn you can detach one xyz material from this card and send 2 of your face-down banished cards to the graveyard: banish one card on the field face-down. If this card would be destroyed you can send one face-down card from your banish zone to the graveyard instead. Keeper of the Box (rank 4, Dark, dragon-type, 2700 atk 2400 def) 3 level 4 "the Box" monsters When this card is xyz summoned: add one "the Box" spell card from your deck to the hand. Once per turn you can banish one xyz material from this card face-down to look at 2 face-down cards in your banish zone and special summon one of them. If it is a spell/trap card it is treated as a level 4 normal monster with 0 atk and def. You cannot special summon, except "the Box" monsters. The Box of Pandora (spell card) Send one face-down banished card to the graveyard: banish one card on the field. If this face-down banished card is sent to the graveyard: destroy one monster your opponent controlls. The Box of Schrodinger (spell card) Target 3 cards in your graveyard; banish them face down, then shuffle all face-down cards in your banish zone (without looking at them). If this face-down banished card is sent to the graveyard: look at up to 2 of your face-down banished cards. The Box of Noah (spell card) Look at 2 face-down cards in your banish zone; special summon one of them and send the other to the graveyard. If you targeted a spell/trap card for a special summon, it is treated as a level 4 normal monster with 0 atk and def.
Pchi
Nice concept and design, needs some work on the OCG, though (I figure the appropriate terminology would be "return a face-down card to the graveyard" instead of "send"). Duuno about The Box of Pandora though; non-targeting banishment for such a low cost with an extra effect seems too good. Come to think about it, are you sure you didn't forget to add a targeting clause to at least some of your other cards?
Burning-Scrap
You might be right about the targeting part but i dont think the cost is low when comparing to other spell cards like Lightning Vortex. As for the "return" instead of "send", i know the common OCG is returning a banished card to the graveyard, but most of those banished cards didnt come from the graveyard so i found the word return unfitting. Thanks for the comment though :)
