Xeroxys
Demonic Sacrifice Golem [Monster|Synchro|Effect] Fiend/Fire [********] 0/2500 1 FIRE Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 monster from anywhere on the field; its owner gains LP equal to the Level/Rank of the Tributed monster x 300, and if they do, this card's ATK is increased by the same amount of points. Xeroxys
Bump. Updated card effect/stats. Demonic Sacrifice Golem [Monster|Synchro|Effect] Fiend/Fire [********] 0/0 1 FIRE Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters Cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 monster from anywhere on the field; its owner gains LP equal to the Level/Rank of the Tributed monster x 300, and if they do, this card gains ATK and DEF equal to the Tributed monster's Level/Rank x 100. Changes DEF reduced from 2500 to 0 Now gains DEF in addition to ATK, but gains Level/Rank x 100, rather than x 300. Cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects I made these changes because I found the card to be a little overpowered before. Essentially, you could use it to get rid of an opponent's problematic monster, and though it gave the opponent life points, you could undo that gain in a single turn with this card alone. Now, it takes three turns. In order to compensate for his new frailty (it takes several turns to actually have a respectable ATK/DEF), I gave him destruction immunity. Given the amount of non-destruction removal in the meta, I think that's reasonable.
Im the prince of the ring!
I understand that the owner of the monster gains the LP, but the tributing part is still a very powerful effect. Not many cards can get passed the tributing part, so it often comes off as a very advantageous card and effect for you. I think to balance it out, you can allow the opponent to special summon a level 4 or lower monster if you tributed their monster and prevent monsters of yours from attacking. That's just my two cents though

I think to balance it out, you can allow the opponent to special summon a level 4 or lower monster if you tributed their monster and prevent monsters of yours from attacking. That's just my two cents though I'm hesitant to implement something like this, because I'd like to maintain the symmetry of the effect, and it would be hard to add such an effect without leaning the advantage further towards this card's controller. In order to balance it, I think I might remove the battle destruction immunity. Of course, then he'd be trivially easy to kill, so I would buff his ATK/DEF a bit as well. Something like this: Demonic Sacrifice Golem [Monster|Synchro|Effect] Fiend/Fire [********] 2000/1500 1 FIRE Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters Cannot be destroyed by card effects. Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 monster from anywhere on the field; its owner gains LP equal to the Level/Rank of the Tributed monster x 300, and if they do, this card gains ATK and DEF equal to the Tributed monster's Level/Rank x 100.
