Jaller123
the rerason they went is because there was no war at the time (i think) so the govermenty had a bit more money and they wanted to beat russia to the moon and now it would cost even more money than it did back then in relative terms plus the reason the flag moved was bcos there was a pole in the top of it' date=' so it wouldnt fall down as there is no wind to blow it to keep it up duuur and if you moved the flag with a pole int he top it would flutter wind or no wind[/quote'] See.exactly!!!!Thank tonyisanoob
Static
Concerning the Permanent Moon Base: The moon has water at the core (inside minerals), so thats where they can get the Oxygen to breathe and water to grow plants with. Conerning the Landing: I honestly don't know, considering that we have never gone back there, I guess its possible it could not have happened. Fh-Fh
The moon landing was real. It was cost the government MORE money to fake it than to make it real. We didn't go back there because:A) We made our point.B) Too much money.C) Risk of failure (there always was) D) Mars Also Armstrong blew his line. One small step for A man' date=' one giant leap for mankind. XD If it was fake, they would have fixed that.[/quote'] So it would cost more money to produce a short video than to send men into space on a rocket and then bring them back? Thats several billion dollars there. what did he mess up about that line? One small step for A man, one giant leap for mankind. Plus, it would cost more money because something had to come back, didn't it? This was what would have happened if it was fake: Launch a rocket into space (nobody in it). Brodcast the fake video all over the U.S. Somehow, something landed from the sky and two humans popped out. How??
Static
IF....The entire video was fake..... They brought the guy into space, he chilled on the space station making fake footage of himself landing on something, set the moon as a backdrop, and came back to Earth with the fake footage. Tefached
it was fake because we didnt want to waste the money in actually going into space to search for something that doesnt exist The moon<. Instead we went to hollywood to try to beat Russia and all the other countries at something that no one cares about
Guest PikaPerson01
Fun Fact: The astronauts who landed on the moon left a mirror there, so the US could bounce a laser off it and track the exact distance between the Earth and Moon at all times. Lol, skeptics. Edit: Now with a source!http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEhelp/ApolloLaser.html

Guest JoshIcy
haha this is making me skeptical myself.... especially since the flag itself was moving, but there is logical reasoning to that: could have been movement from staking the flag in the surface causing vibrations, and it being open space, it would have moved.... also, with so few landings it seems rather [insert clever word here].... but with all those failed launches, the debris would be a serious factor... meh, too much to think about logically and skeptically at the same time... Conerning the Landing: I honestly don't know, considering that we have never gone back there, I guess its possible it could not have happened.[/quote'] We've never been back? Are you people under the impression that we've only been there once?! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_landing "A moon landing is the arrival of an intact manned or unmanned spacecraft on the surface of a planet's natural satellite." Note they don't say "the", and as you read on: "The United States achieved the first manned landing on Earth's Moon as part of the Apollo 11 mission commanded by Neil Armstrong. On July 20, 1969, Armstrong, accompanied by Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin, landed the lunar module Eagle on the surface of the Moon. Armstrong and Aldrin spent a day on the surface of the Moon before returning to Earth. A total of six such manned moon landings were carried out between 1969 and 1972." Also, I suggest you take particular note of this part of the article (click here). There is also a list of those who have stepped upon the moon (click here). Oh, and, if you mean we haven't been back since the 70s, read this (click here). It's was real - stop spoiling the fun.

ender4449
obviously the moon landing was fake. Why? Because why havent they gone there again? Why not prove themselves that it was actually true. Also... if there was no wind on the moon... how do the flag move? lolz at this after they let go of the flag it NEVER moved also as soon as we got there the USSR space program went the way of the do-do bird for a couple of years
