Dark Magician world
... Burst dragons. It might just be me being overly self conscious, but I think I might have a terrible naming sense. This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect: During your main Phase: You can send this face-up card to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Burst Dragon LV6" from your hand or Deck and treat it as an effect monster with it's effect. This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect: During the damage step of your turn: when this monster battles a monster with higher ATK; this monster gains ATK equal to the difference of the two monsters ATK. If this card is destroyed by battle and you take no battle damage; Special Summon 1 "burst Dragon LV8" from your hand or Deck. Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by "Burst Dragon LV6", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card inflicts battle damage, inflict 800 damage to your opponent. All face-up Gemini Monsters on the field are treated as Effect Monsters, and gain their effects. These are kind of unfair since with just one supervise you can go to level 8 in one turn but I don't think they're too bad. tell me if you think it's a bit too much or if lv 8's effect is too weak. Cosmo.
You basically took an already slow mechanic and made them slower since they're Gemini...And the LVL 8 one is super underpowered, other max LVL monsters have strong effects, while this one is a very weak burn. Dark Magician world
You basically took an already slow mechanic and made them slower since they're Gemini...And the LVL 8 one is super underpowered, other max LVL monsters have strong effects, while this one is a very weak burn.I also thought that lvl 8's effect was too weak so I'll change that. As for the speed, true it could be slow at times but it could also be fast. For example, supervise on lvl 4 brings out lvl 6 instantly and with his effect. If your opponent has a monster stronger than 2300 you can suicide bomb it to bring out lvl 8. Since it's still the battle phase you can enjoy your 3000 atk beatstick immediately. I weakened lvl 8 a lot since I was thinking too much about direct attacks but looking at it later it really is way underpowered. While this is pretty situational, I wanted to make lvl up cards that could make it to max level in one go(asides from level up). Lvl 4's effect is too straightforward so i had to put some kind of limiting factor while still making it doable so I made it a gemini monster since there're many ways to get around that while still not being too easy. So that's why I made it a bit annoying to get them started.
