Wymver - Dragons and Wyrms Unite [Written]

For some actual lore; the Wyrms are essentially spiritual versions of various animals with Dragon descent. They then offer themselves as tributes in order to summon a true Dragon, that originates from the animal they were the spirit of. (Hawk can summon the Phoenix, etc, but for gameplay purposes, they can special summon any Dragon.) The extra deck monsters, are the Dragons united into one godly spirit of a Dragon, with the name essentially being a Japanese word relating to the summon mechanic. (Konbain is Combine for Xyz, Shinsei is Rebirth for Synchro) The name of the archetype is also a combination of both Wyrm and Wyvern.
 
The main theme of the archetype is that the Wyrm monsters can return themselves to the hand during either player's turn, and if they do, you can activate an effect and also discard any of them to Special Summon a Dragon Wymver from your Deck. 
 
All the Dragon Wymvers have Cyber Dragon style effects, along with two other effects that only one of can be activated per turn. One of the effects activates when the monster is special summoned from a Wyrm, the other activates if a Wymver is returned to the hand.
 

Wymver Hawk

During either player's Main Phase: You can return this face-up card from the field to the hand. You can only use each of these effects of "Wymver Hawk" once per turn.
•If this card is returned to the hand: You can add 1 Dragon-Type "Wymver" monster from your Deck to your hand.
•You can discard this card to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type "Wymver" monster from your hand.

Wymver Beast

During either player's Main Phase: You can return this face-up card from the field to the hand. You can only use each of these effects of "Wymver Beast" once per turn.
•If this card is returned to the hand: You can add up to 2 Dragon-Type "Wymver" monster from your Graveyard to your hand.
•You can discard this card to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type "Wymver" monster from your hand.

Wymver Dragon of the Pegasus

WIND

[Dragon/Effect]
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only use 1 of following effects of "Wymver Dragon of the Pegasus" per turn, and only once that turn.
•If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a Wyrm-Type monster: You can Normal Summon 1 "Wymver" monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set during the turn this card was summoned.
•Once per turn, if a monster(s) is returned to the hand (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 face-up "Wymver" Wyrm-Type monster; the Type and Level of that monster becomes the same as this card.

Wymver Dragon of the Phoenix

If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only use 1 of following effects of "Wymver Dragon of the Phoenix" per turn, and only once that turn.
•If this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a Wyrm-Type monster: You can draw 1 card, then return 1 card from your hand to the bottom of your Deck.
•Once per turn, if a monster(s) is returned to the hand (except during the Damage Step): You can target one Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target.

Wymver of Shinsei

1 "Wymver" Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
You can only control 1 "Wymver of Shinsei". Any card sent from your opponent's hand or Main Deck to the Graveyard is banished instead. When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target 1 card on the field or in either player's Graveyard; return that target to the hand. You can Tribute this card; Shuffle 1 card from your opponent's hand or field into the deck, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type "Wymver" monster and 1 Wyrm-Type "Wymver" monster from your deck. You can only use this effect of "Wymver of Shinsei" once per turn. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during the turn you activate this effect.

Wymver of Konbain

WIND

[Wyrm/Xyz/Effect]
2 Level 5 Dragon-Type monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material and target 1 monster you control and 1 card your opponent controls; Return the the monster you control to the hand, and if you do, banish the card your opponent controls. Each time a "Wymver" monster(s) is returned to the hand, place 1 Rebirth Counter on this card. You can remove 2 Rebirth Counters from this card; draw 1 card.
ATK/2400 DEF/1900

 

 

Call of the Wyvern

[Normal Spell]
Add 1 Dragon-Type "Wymver" monster and 1 Wyrm-Type "Wymver" monster from your Deck to your hand. You cannot Special Summon during the turn you activate this card.

Interesting idea! All the cards you've made so far are very good, and most of them are balanced; however, I'm a bit leery of the Xyz. Banishing a card seems like a bit much when all it does to you is either generate more advantage or set you up for advantage. Maybe change it to destroying, instead? Overall, I like this set, and I hope you do more with them in the future! =)

Thanks, and yeah, thats a good point, but I also feel like destroying really just doesn't benefit you much. Maybe shuffle into the deck?
