[TCG] [Written] Disorganized Darkness - The Deurmekaar Archetype

This is my first archetype, so I would very much appreciate constructive criticism! Harsh is fine, but please no "lel u suck gb2 casual."


The Deurmekaar* are an archetype of DARK monsters that encompass every type currently in the game (except Divine Beast and Creator God, of course). The lower-leveled monsters have effects that, while useful, don't support each other, leaving it to the higher-leveled monsters to bring the archetype together into a coherent deck. To further exemplify this theme, the names of the monsters are their types translated into a different language, and no two languages are the same. The exception is Deus Creador, the boss monster, who is Fairy-type, since Divine Beast and Creator God are not applicable types. (Also, if someone could tell me how to create folders, that'd be awesome!)


 


*Deurmekaar means "disorganized" or "confused" in Afrikaans.

Once per turn, you can target one monster your opponent controls. Halve its attack until the End Phase. When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can draw 1 card. You can only activate this effect once per turn.

Once per turn, you can switch the original ATK and DEF of every face-up monster on the field until the End Phase. (Additions and subtractions that were applied to the original ATK and/or DEF of a monster are now applied to the new ATK and DEF.)

Once per turn, during either player’s turn, you can target one card in your opponent’s Graveyard. Banish that target. When this card is destroyed by batttle, you can target one card in each player's Banished Zone. Shuffle them into their respective decks.

When this card is sent to the Graveyard by your opponent’s card (whether by battle or by card effect): You can target 1 “Deurmekaar” monster in your Deck or Graveyard; Special Summon it. It cannot be Tributed or used as material for any kind of Summon, except for the Tribute Summon of a “Deurmekaar” monster.

When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card and sent to the Graveyard (whether by battle or by card effect), you can Special Summon one "Deurmekaar" monster from your Deck whose level is equal to or lower than this card's level, except for "Deurmekaar Tonnerre".

You can Tribute Summon this card in face-up Attack Position by tributing one “Deurmekaar” monster you control. Once per turn, you can Special Summon a number of Level 4 or lower “Deurmekaar” monsters equal to the number of monsters you tributed to Tribute Summon this card from your hand and/or Graveyard. When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card (whether by battle or by card effect), you can Special Summon one "Deurmekaar" monster from your Deck whose level is equal to or lower than this card's level, except for "Deurmekaar Drachen".

When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent, send the top 3 cards of your opponent’s Deck to the Graveyard, then you can Special Summon a number of your banished “Deurmekaar” monsters equal to or less than the number of monsters sent to the Graveyard by this card’s effect. When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card and sent to the Graveyard (whether by battle or by card effect), you can Special Summon one "Deurmekaar" monster from your Deck whose level is equal to or lower than this card's level, except for "Deurmekaar Serangga".

When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card and sent to the Graveyard (whether by battle or by card effect), you can Special Summon one "Deurmekaar" monster from your Deck whose level is equal to or lower than this card's level, except for "Deurmekaar Plandaí".

Pendulum Effect: You can only Special Summon “Deurmekaar” monsters. This effect cannot be negated. Once per turn, when a “Deurmekaar” monster you control battles, you can pay Life Points in multiples of 100 (max. 1000) to reduce the ATK of the monster your monster is battling by the same amount.


Monster Effect: Once per turn, if you control 2 other monsters, including at least one other “Deurmekaar” monster, you can banish one monster on the field. When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card (whether by battle or by card effect), you can Special Summon one "Deurmekaar" monster from your Deck whose level is equal to or lower than this card's level, except for "Deurmekaar Rettile."

Pendulum Effect: You can only Special Summon “Deurmekaar” monster. This effect cannot be negated. Once per turn, when a “Deurmekaar” monster you control battles, you can pay Life Points in multiples of 100 (max. 1000) to increase the ATK of the “Deurmekaar” monster you control by the same amount.


Monster Effect: When this card is Summoned, you can add one “Deurmekaar” monster from your Graveyard to your hand OR Special Summon one Level 4 or lower "Deurmekaar" monster from your Deck. You can only activate this effect of “Deurmekaar Samudra Sarpa” once per turn. When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card (whether by battle or by card effect), you can Special Summon one "Deurmekaar" monster from your Deck whose level is equal to or lower than this card's level, except for "Deurmekaar Samudra Sarpa".

If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand, then if your opponent controls a Pendulum Monster or has a Pendulum Monster in one of their Pendulum Zones and you do not, you can place one “Deurmekaar” Pendulum Monster from your Deck or Extra Deck into one of your Pendulum Zones.


When this card is Special Summoned, you can add one “Deurmekaar” monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. When this card is destroyed by your opponent's card and sent to the Graveyard (whether by battle or by card effect), you can Special Summon one "Deurmekaar" monster from your Deck whose level is equal to or lower than this card's level, except for "Deurmekaar Baksaei".


 


Deurmekaar Deus Creador

Fairy/Dark/Effect

This card cannot be Special Summoned or Set. This card can only be Normal Summoned by Tributing 3 or more “Deurmekaar” monsters. This card is unaffected by the effects of Spell or Trap cards. Once per turn, you can draw one card and reveal it. If it is a “Deurmekaar” monster, you can Special Summon it. If it is not, take 500 damage. After Special Summoning “Deurmekaar” monsters with this effect successfully for the third time, if all of the monsters Tributed to summon this card are in your Graveyard, you may Special Summon them. They gain 500 ATK and inflict piercing damage. When this card is destroyed by battle or by a card effect, you can Special Summon one "Deurmekaar" monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, except "Deurmekaar Deus Creador". You can only control 1 face-up "Deurmekaar Deus Creador."

I really like the names and the idea, although I still feel somewhat as the archetype isn't tied together, and that you put a little too many restrictions on the boss monsters. For example, Samudra Sarpa should add from the Deck, Plandai shouldn't destroy the monsters, etc, because you'd be lacking too much in advantage for a deck to work. I think you should just take those away and it could work better.
