THIS....IS.....SPARTA! (Heavyduty Spartans Archetype) [12/12]

Hey guys, it's me again with a new archetype. Originally, I was making another archetype that revolved around Fairies tuning wyrms into evolved Dragons (I'll save that for another time: Just let me know if you want me to continue with that. If I get a yes, then I'll show a little sneak peak of the archetype.) Anyway, here's the archetype that's the Xyz counterpart of the SuperHeavy Samurai: The HeavyDuty Spartans. Like the previous sentence stated, the archetype is similar to the samurais, with its huge DEF and can attack while in DEF, and gets effects off too when you do (for certain monsters that is). But here, you can use spell/traps instead of a huge monster mash. However.....there is one difference: It's XYZ.....instead of SYNCHROS.... anyway, here's the archetype:

[spoiler=lore] When this card is Summoned: Change it to Defense Position. If this card is Summoned: You can add 1 "Heavyduty Spartan" monster from your Deck to your hand. This card can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation.

[spoiler=lore] When this card is Summoned: Change it to Defense Position. This card can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent, you can target 1 "Heavyduty Spartan" monster from your graveyard whose ATK is equal to or less than the damage your Opponent took: Special Summon it, but that monster cannot attack and its effects are negated.

[spoiler=lore] When this card is Summoned: Change it to Defense Position. If this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Level 4 "Heavyduty Spartan" monster from your graveyard; Special Summon it, but it cannot attack. This card can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation.

[spoiler=lore] When this card is Summoned: Change it to Defense Position. This card can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation. When this card destroys an Opponent's monster and sends it to the graveyard; inflict damage to your Opponent equal to the DEF of the destroyed monster in the graveyard.

[spoiler=lore] You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by tributing 1 "Heavyduty Spartan" monster you control. You can only Special Summon "Heavyduty Spartan Apollo" once per turn this way. This card can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation.

[spoiler=lore] You can target 1 Level 4 "Heavyduty Spartan" monster you control; equip this monster from your hand or your side of the field to that target. It gains 500 DEF, also double its level. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, you can destroy this card instead.

This card can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material; this turn, "Heavyduty Spartan" monsters you control can inflict Piercing Battle Damage to your Opponent.

This card can attack while in Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation. Once per turn, during either player's damage calculation: You can detach 1 Xyz Material, then target 1 "Heavyduty Spartan" monster you control, except this card; double its DEF until the End Phase. You can only use its effect once per turn.

[spoiler=lore] If you control at least 2 "Heavyduty Spartan" monsters, during your Opponent's Battle Phase: "Heavyduty Spartan" monsters you control in Attack Position cannot be destroyed by battle. At the end of the damage step, if an Opponent's monster attacks a "Heavyduty Spartan" monster you control: Destroy that monster.

[spoiler=lore] Activate this card only during your Standby Phase. During the turn this card resolves: Switch all Level 4 or lower "Heavyduty Spartan" monster you control to face-up Attack Position (all Level 4 or lower "Heavyduty Spartan" monsters summoned after this card resolves are also affected by this effect). All Level 4 or lower "Heavyduty Spartan" monsters you control must attack this turn. During this turn: the DEF of all Level 4 or lower "Heavyduty Spartan" monsters you control become 0, and they gain ATK equal to their original DEF. During the End Phase: Switch all monsters affected by this effect to Defense Position.

[spoiler=lore] Destroy 5 "Heavyduty Spartan" monsters you control; Return all cards in both players' hands and Fields to their Decks, and if you do, you can Special Summon 1 "Heavyduty Spartan" monster from your Deck for every 4 cards returned to the Deck by this effect. You cannot conduct your next Battle Phase the turn you activate this card.
