Azure Wolf Posted August 5, 2015 Report Share Posted August 5, 2015 Due to the lack of WATER Machine monsters and most of the them already belonging to an archetype or series, I decided to build off "Mecha Sea Dragon Plesion". As such they are all WATER Machine monsters and will be based of marine reptiles name wise. Their effects revolve around being tributed or tributing WATER monsters. All level 4 or lowers are treated as Sea Serpents while on the field and all level 5 or highers are easier to summon depending on how many Sea Serpents you control. Not sure if I'll make any extra deck monsters yet but if I do I'm leaning towards Contact Fusion or just go for Rituals. Anyway on to the cards. Mecha Sea Dragon AigianWATER Level 4Machine/EffectWhile this card is face-up on the field it is also Sea Serpent-type. You can Tribute 1 WATER monster; draw 1 card. You can only activate the effect of "Mecha Sea Dragon Aigian" once per turn.1700/1000 Your draw card. Hard OTP to prevent draw abuse, may weaken it if it wouldn't be that powerful, though it would be splash-able in WATER decks. Mecha Sea Dragon DolionWATER Level 2Machine/EffectWhile this card is face-up on the field it is also Sea Serpent-type. If this card is Tributed by the effect of a WATER monster; Target 1 face-up card on the field; negate its effects until your opponents next End Phase.800/800 A Effect Veiler -esque card nothing much about it. Mecha Sea Dragon MosaonWATER Level 4Machine/EffectWhile this card is face-up on the field it is also Sea Serpent-type. You can send this card from your hand to the graveyard; add 1 WATER Machine-type monster from your deck to your hand. If this card is destroyed while you control a "Mecha Sea Dragon" monster: Target 1 card on the field; destroy it. You can only activate each effect of "Mecha Sea Dragon Mosaon" once per turn.1900/0 The searcher, easy beater and additional destruction. The search effect is more generic so it could be splashed if a WATER Machine archetype is ever made. The destruction effect less so, requiring a "Mecha Sea Dragon" to work but you could just crash this and pop if needed. Temple of the Sea DragonsSpell/FieldDuring your Main Phase, you can Normal Summon 1 "Mecha Sea Dragon" in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You may only gain this effect once per turn.) You can send this face-up card to the graveyard; Special Summon 1 WATER Machine-type monster from you hand or deck. You can only activate this effect once per duel. What better way to start off the Spells than with a field. It allows an additional summon as getting out your high levels is key for you more powerful effects, with the second effect allowing for a quick, but one time, summon from your hand or deck. Not sure if the OPD is a tad harsh but it'll depend on how the archetype evolves. Sea Dragon RepairsTrap/ContinuousTarget 1 WATER Machine-type monster in your graveyard; Special Summon it. When this card leaves the field destroy that monster. When the monster Special Summoned by this effect is destroyed you can tribute 1 WATER Monster; Special Summon it. You can only activate each effect of "Sea Dragon Repairs" once per turn. A themed CotH. It allows you to easily get back a lost monster twice, once for free and once again for the cost of a WATER monster. There will be cards which work off being tributed by this along with other traps but those will come later. Anyway, CnC and OCG fixes welcome. Reps to good reviews.
