Htamret
If I can find a good picture for this card, I might make it, but text for now. It stems from the fact that when I was younger my best cards always seemed to be at the bottom of my Deck when I checked after a duel. So yeah, here it is! Orbital RecoveryQuick-Play SpellWhen your Life Points would be reduced to a negative number: Gain Life Points equal to the negative number your Life Points would have been reduced to. Your opponent picks any number of cards from your hand (you do not reveal your hand) to send to the top of your Deck. Draw the same number of cards from the bottom of your Deck. During your Standby Phase: Send one card from the top of your Deck to the bottom of your Deck to send one 'Orbital Recovery' to the top of your Deck from your Graveyard. If this effect would be negated, banish the card on the bottom of your Deck to resolve this effect. That's all it is. A flashy little card that can save you in a pinch, and it is able to recycle itself. It probably needs balancing and/or an OCG-related fix, so any CnC is welcome! Pibb247
When a card or effect is activated that would inflict damage to you that is greater than your LP, OR during damage calculation, if you would take battle damage that is greater than your LP: Gain LP equal to the difference, also make that damage to you 0. Then, your opponent places any number of random cards in your hand on top of your Deck in any order (min. 1), then you add the same number of cards from the bottom of your Deck to your hand. During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard: You can place the top card of your Deck on the bottom of your Deck, and if you do, place this card on the top of your Deck. If this effect would be negated, you can banish the bottom card of your Deck, instead. I don't think it needs any balancing. The activation requirement is so situational that if you are able to pull this card off, you should deserve to do so. Plus, there is no guarantee that the bottom cards of your Deck would be any better than the currently dead ones in your hand, so there is risk involved in even playing this card in the first place. The second effect is also already balanced, because unless you placed a card on the top of your Deck from somewhere else (or looked at them with something like "Big Eye"), there is another risk involved in moving what could potentially be a game changing card to the bottom of your Deck. Despite the gamble, if this card does end up helping you, then it was definitely worth the investment. You put it best; it is a "flashy little card". Plus there are cases where you know what is on the bottom of your Deck (this card might be interesting in Sylvans for that reason).

I initially had thought to make it so that you could send cards to the bottom of your Deck to resolve the effect, but banishing the bottom card of your Deck seems like it is more of a cost since as part of the card's effect you could just get it back later.
