Starry-Eyes Enigma Dragon
Lore:3 Level 4 LIGHT Fairy-Type monstersEach time a LIGHT Fairy-Type monster is Summoned: Inflict 600 points of damage to your opponent. Once per turn, during either player's turn, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card: Special Summon the detached Material in face-up Attack position, and if you do, you can attach 1 "Melodious" monster you control to this card as an Xyz Material (this is a Quick Effect). During the next Standby Phase after the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon up to 3 monsters from your Graveyard that were attached to this card as Xyz Materials during the Phase this card was sent to the Graveyard, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the combined Levels of each of the monsters Special Summoned this way x100. Wanted to make something to help Melodious be pseudo-competitive. I always have loved Athena-Burn, but making a deck around it is just obnoxious. And since she's such a dead draw, she just doesn't work as a tech-in, so I made her an Xyz. This can work with the Seraphs, too. Also, there's just lots of fun combos you can do with the Special Summoning, as you can imagine. Feel free to comment constructively. :)
deathdragonv2
I really like the idea of a Melodious XYZ, I really think they need one but I think the issue I have with this card is that it's a 3 material monster, I've found that playing with Melodious the tend to lack speed and Summoning power - otherwise the lock would be much more consistent. The removal to Special Summon a monster seems really helpful but I think this card would work much better as a 2 material rank 4 light XYZ. I get the Seraph idea but it seemslike the only way you would be able to run this card as it is. I'd love to see more Melodious XYZs if you intend to make any more.
