You can only activate this effect of "Spirit of Safe Passage" once per Duel. When this face-up card is targeted by a card effect: Destroy it. If this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by its own effect; excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck and add 2 excavated cards to your hand, also place the remaining cards on the top of your Deck in any order. deathdragonv2 Posted August 16, 2015 Report Share Posted August 16, 2015 I like the graveyard revival effect as it gives this card a whole lot more use and makes it really easy to keep abusing its effect. I like that you can target it with your own cards to set off its effect, it seems like it gives you more control and opportunities. Mill 5 but add 2 back could be a really strong effect if it was used in Shaddoll or BA and it gives you crazy effect combos. Yu-gi-oh Dude Posted August 17, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 17, 2015 But the recycling is a once per duel thing, and its effect won't trigger when you make a Rank 4 and/or detach it; the excavation only occurs when it's destroyed by its own effect, i.e. when it's targeted by an effect. I see why you have made it a rank 4 now.Its effect is a good one but you also want it not to be dead weight if it can't be pulled off right. I guess I just see this card being fairly easily abused. But now that I realised that I was reading it wrong it does seem much more balanced. Sorry guy. Now that I understand it properly It's actually pretty balanced with the chance of pulling off a really good effect.
